Psalms 92:1It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh, To sing praises to your name, Most High;<A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath.> It is a good thing to give praise to the Lord, and to make melody to your name, O Most High;The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved.A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to thy name, O Most High.
Psalms 92:2To proclaim your lovingkindness in the morning, And your faithfulness every night,To make clear your mercy in the morning, and your unchanging faith every night;Thy throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting.To show forth thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.
Psalms 92:3With the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, And with the melody of the lyre.On a ten-corded instrument, and on an instrument of music with a quiet sound.The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
Psalms 92:4For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.For you, O Lord, have made me glad through your work; I will have joy in the works of your hands.with the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high.For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
Psalms 92:5How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep.Thy testimonies are become exceedingly credible: holiness becometh thy house, O Lord, unto length of days.O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
Psalms 92:6A senseless man doesn't know, Neither does a fool understand this:A man without sense has no knowledge of this; and a foolish man may not take it in.A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
Psalms 92:7Though the wicked spring up as the grass, And all the evil-doers flourish, They will be destroyed forever.When the sinners come up like the grass, and all the workers of evil do well for themselves, it is so that their end may be eternal destruction.When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
Psalms 92:8But you, Yahweh, are on high forevermore.But you, O Lord, are on high for ever.But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
Psalms 92:9For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh, For, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evil-doers will be scattered.For see! your haters, O Lord, will be put to death; all the workers of evil will be put to flight;For lo, thy enemies, O LORD, for lo, thy enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
Psalms 92:10But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.But my horn is lifted up like the horn of the ox: the best oil is flowing on my head.But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
Psalms 92:11My eye has also seen my enemies, My ears have heard of the evil-doers who rise up against me.My eyes have seen trouble come on my haters; my ears have news of the fate of the evil-doers who have come up against me.My eye also shall see my desire on my enemies, and my ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
Psalms 92:12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.The good man will be like a tall tree in his strength; his growth will be as the wide-stretching trees of Lebanon.The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Psalms 92:13They are planted in Yahweh's house. They will flourish in our God's courts.Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will come up tall and strong in his gardens.Those that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
Psalms 92:14They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,They will give fruit even when they are old; they will be fertile and full of growth;They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
Psalms 92:15To show that Yahweh is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Psalm 93For a sign that the Lord is upright; he is my Rock, there is no deceit in him.To show that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
