| Psalms 41:1 | Blessed is he who considers the poor: Yahweh will deliver him in the day of evil. | <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> Happy is the man who gives thought to the poor; the Lord will be his saviour in the time of trouble. | To the Overseer. A Psalm of David. O the happiness of him Who is acting wisely unto the poor, In a day of evil doth Jehovah deliver him. | To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in the time of trouble. |
| Psalms 41:2 | Yahweh will preserve him, and keep him alive, He shall be blessed on the earth, And he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies. | The Lord will keep him safe, and give him life; the Lord will let him be a blessing on the earth, and will not give him into the hand of his haters. | Jehovah doth preserve him and revive him, He is happy in the land, And Thou givest him not into the will of his enemies. | The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him to the will of his enemies. |
| Psalms 41:3 | Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, And restore him from his bed of illness. | The Lord will be his support on his bed of pain: by you will all his grief be turned to strength. | Jehovah supporteth on a couch of sickness, All his bed Thou hast turned in his weakness. | The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. |

| Psalms 41:5 | My enemies speak evil against me: "When will he die, and his name perish?" | My haters say evil against me, When will he be dead, and his name come to an end? | Mine enemies say evil of me: When he dieth his name hath perished! | My enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish? |
| Psalms 41:6 | If he come to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it. | If one comes to see me, deceit is in his heart; he keeps a store of evil, which he makes public in every place. | And if he came to see vanity he speaketh, His heart gathereth iniquity to itself, He goeth out at the street he speaketh. | And if he cometh to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it. |

They imagine the worst for me. | All my haters are talking secretly together against me; they are designing my downfall. | All hating me whisper together against me, Against me they devise evil to me: | All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt. |
| Psalms 41:8 | "An evil disease," they say, "has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more." | They say, He has an evil disease, which will not let him go: and now that he is down he will not get up again. | A thing of Belial is poured out on him, And because he lay down he riseth not again. | An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast to him: and now that he lieth he shall rise no more. |
| Psalms 41:9 | Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, Who ate bread with me, Has lifted up his heel against me. | Even my dearest friend, in whom I had faith, who took bread with me, is turned against me. | Even mine ally, in whom I trusted, One eating my bread, made great the heel against me, | Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. |
| Psalms 41:10 | But you, Yahweh, have mercy on me, and raise me up, That I may repay them. | But you, O Lord, have mercy on me, lifting me up, so that I may give them their punishment. | And Thou, Jehovah, favour me, And cause me to rise, And I give recompence to them. | But thou, O LORD, be merciful to me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. |
| Psalms 41:11 | By this I know that you delight in me, Because my enemy doesn't triumph over me. | By this I see that you have pleasure in me, because my hater does not overcome me. | By this I have known, That Thou hast delighted in me, Because my enemy shouteth not over me. | By this I know that thou favorest me, because my enemy doth not triumph over me. |
| Psalms 41:12 | As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, And set me in your presence forever. | And as for me, you are my support in my righteousness, giving me a place before your face for ever. | As to me, in mine integrity, Thou hast taken hold upon me, And causest me to stand before Thee to the age. | And as for me, thou upholdest me in my integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. |
