Psalms 92:1It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh, To sing praises to your name, Most High;<A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath.> It is a good thing to give praise to the Lord, and to make melody to your name, O Most High;A Psalm. A Song for the sabbath-day. Good to give thanks to Jehovah, And to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High,A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to thy name, O Most High.
Psalms 92:2To proclaim your lovingkindness in the morning, And your faithfulness every night,To make clear your mercy in the morning, and your unchanging faith every night;To declare in the morning Thy kindness, And Thy faithfulness in the nights.To show forth thy loving-kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.
Psalms 92:3With the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, And with the melody of the lyre.On a ten-corded instrument, and on an instrument of music with a quiet sound.On ten strings and on psaltery, On higgaion, with harp.Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
Psalms 92:4For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.For you, O Lord, have made me glad through your work; I will have joy in the works of your hands.For Thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Jehovah, in Thy work, Concerning the works of Thy hands I sing.For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
Psalms 92:5How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep.O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep.How great have been Thy works, O Jehovah, Very deep have been Thy thoughts.O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
Psalms 92:6A senseless man doesn't know, Neither does a fool understand this:A man without sense has no knowledge of this; and a foolish man may not take it in.A brutish man doth not know, And a fool understandeth not this;A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.
Psalms 92:7Though the wicked spring up as the grass, And all the evil-doers flourish, They will be destroyed forever.When the sinners come up like the grass, and all the workers of evil do well for themselves, it is so that their end may be eternal destruction.When the wicked flourish as a herb, And blossom do all workers of iniquity For their being destroyed for ever and ever!When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:
Psalms 92:8But you, Yahweh, are on high forevermore.But you, O Lord, are on high for ever.And Thou [art] high to the age, O Jehovah.But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
Psalms 92:9For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh, For, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evil-doers will be scattered.For see! your haters, O Lord, will be put to death; all the workers of evil will be put to flight;For, lo, Thine enemies, O Jehovah, For, lo, Thine enemies, do perish, Separate themselves do all workers of iniquity.For lo, thy enemies, O LORD, for lo, thy enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
Psalms 92:10But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.But my horn is lifted up like the horn of the ox: the best oil is flowing on my head.And Thou exaltest as a reem my horn, I have been anointed with fresh oil.But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
Psalms 92:11My eye has also seen my enemies, My ears have heard of the evil-doers who rise up against me.My eyes have seen trouble come on my haters; my ears have news of the fate of the evil-doers who have come up against me.And mine eye looketh on mine enemies, Of those rising up against me, The evil doers, do mine ears hear.My eye also shall see my desire on my enemies, and my ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
Psalms 92:12The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.The good man will be like a tall tree in his strength; his growth will be as the wide-stretching trees of Lebanon.The righteous as a palm-tree flourisheth, As a cedar in Lebanon he groweth.The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree; he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Psalms 92:13They are planted in Yahweh's house. They will flourish in our God's courts.Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will come up tall and strong in his gardens.Those planted in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of our God do flourish.Those that are planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
Psalms 92:14They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green,They will give fruit even when they are old; they will be fertile and full of growth;Still they bring forth in old age, Fat and flourishing are they,They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
Psalms 92:15To show that Yahweh is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him. Psalm 93For a sign that the Lord is upright; he is my Rock, there is no deceit in him.To declare that upright [is] Jehovah my rock, And there is no perverseness in Him!To show that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
