Psalms 32:1Blessed is he whose disobedience is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.<Of David. Maschil.> Happy is he who has forgiveness for his wrongdoing, and whose sin is covered.
Psalms 32:2Blessed is the man to whom Yahweh doesn't impute iniquity, In whose spirit there is no deceit.Happy is the man in whom the Lord sees no evil, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
Psalms 32:3When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.When I kept my mouth shut, my bones were wasted, because of my crying all through the day.
Psalms 32:4For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped in the heat of summer. Selah.For the weight of your hand was on me day and night; my body became dry like the earth in summer. (Selah.)
Psalms 32:5I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn't hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, And you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.I made my wrongdoing clear to you, and did not keep back my sin. I said, I will put it all before the Lord; and you took away my wrongdoing and my sin. (Selah.)
Psalms 32:6For this, let everyone that is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found. Surely when the great waters overflow, they shall not reach to him.For this cause let every saint make his prayer to you at a time when you are near: then the overflowing of the great waters will not overtake him.
Psalms 32:7You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.You are my safe and secret place; you will keep me from trouble; you will put songs of salvation on the lips of those who are round me. (Selah.)
Psalms 32:8I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.I will give you knowledge, teaching you the way to go; my eye will be your guide.
Psalms 32:9Don't be like the horse, or like the mule, which have no understanding, Whose are controlled by bit and bridle, or else they will not come near to you.Do not be like the horse or the ass, without sense; ...
Psalms 32:10Many sorrows shall be to the wicked, But he who trusts in Yahweh, lovingkindness shall surround him.The sinner will be full of trouble; but mercy will be round the man who has faith in the Lord.
Psalms 32:11Be glad in Yahweh, and rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart! Psalm 33Be glad in the Lord with joy, you upright men; give cries of joy, all you whose hearts are true.
