Psalms 70:1Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.<To the chief music-maker. Of David. To keep in memory.> Let your salvation come quickly, O God; come quickly to my help, O Lord.
Psalms 70:2Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.Let those who go after my soul have shame and trouble; let those who have evil designs against me be turned back and made foolish.
Psalms 70:3Let them be turned because of their shame Who say, "Aha! Aha!"Let those who say Aha, aha! be turned back as a reward of their shame.
Psalms 70:4Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, "Let God be exalted!"Let all those who are looking for you be glad and have joy in you; let the lovers of your salvation ever say, May God be great.
Psalms 70:5But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer, Yahweh, don't delay. Psalm 71But I am poor and in need; come to me quickly, O God; you are my help and my saviour; let there be no waiting, O Lord.
