| Psalms 92:1 | It is a good thing to give thanks to Yahweh, To sing praises to your name, Most High; | <A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath.> It is a good thing to give praise to the Lord, and to make melody to your name, O Most High; |
| Psalms 92:2 | To proclaim your lovingkindness in the morning, And your faithfulness every night, | To make clear your mercy in the morning, and your unchanging faith every night; |
| Psalms 92:3 | With the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, And with the melody of the lyre. | On a ten-corded instrument, and on an instrument of music with a quiet sound. |
| Psalms 92:4 | For you, Yahweh, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands. | For you, O Lord, have made me glad through your work; I will have joy in the works of your hands. |
| Psalms 92:5 | How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep. | O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep. |
| Psalms 92:6 | A senseless man doesn't know, Neither does a fool understand this: | A man without sense has no knowledge of this; and a foolish man may not take it in. |
| Psalms 92:7 | Though the wicked spring up as the grass, And all the evil-doers flourish, They will be destroyed forever. | When the sinners come up like the grass, and all the workers of evil do well for themselves, it is so that their end may be eternal destruction. |
| Psalms 92:8 | But you, Yahweh, are on high forevermore. | But you, O Lord, are on high for ever. |
| Psalms 92:9 | For, behold, your enemies, Yahweh, For, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evil-doers will be scattered. | For see! your haters, O Lord, will be put to death; all the workers of evil will be put to flight; |
| Psalms 92:10 | But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil. | But my horn is lifted up like the horn of the ox: the best oil is flowing on my head. |
| Psalms 92:11 | My eye has also seen my enemies, My ears have heard of the evil-doers who rise up against me. | My eyes have seen trouble come on my haters; my ears have news of the fate of the evil-doers who have come up against me. |
| Psalms 92:12 | The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. | The good man will be like a tall tree in his strength; his growth will be as the wide-stretching trees of Lebanon. |
| Psalms 92:13 | They are planted in Yahweh's house. They will flourish in our God's courts. | Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will come up tall and strong in his gardens. |
| Psalms 92:14 | They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green, | They will give fruit even when they are old; they will be fertile and full of growth; |
