| Psalms 71:1 | In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Never let me be put to shame. | In thee, Jehovah, do I trust: let me never be ashamed. | In thee, O Jehovah, do I take refuge: Let me never be put to shame. | A psalm on Solomon. |
| Psalms 71:2 | Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me.
