| Psalms 21:1 | The king rejoices in your strength, Yahweh! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation! | {To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} The king shall joy in thy strength, Jehovah; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice. | <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> The king will be glad in your strength, O Lord; how great will be his delight in your salvation! | Unto the end, for the morning protection, a psalm for David. |
| Psalms 21:2 | You have given him his heart's desire, And have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah. | Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah. | You have given him his heart's desire, and have not kept back the request of his lips. (Selah.) | O God my God, look upon me: why hast thou forsaken me? Far from my salvation are the words of my sins. |
