Psalms 36:1An oracle is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: "There is no fear of God before his eyes."{To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of the servant of Jehovah; of David.} The transgression of the wicked uttereth within my heart, There is no fear of God before his eyes.<To the chief music-maker. Of the servant of the Lord. Of David.> The sin of the evil-doer says in his heart, There is no fear of the Lord before his eyes. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
Psalms 36:2For he flatters himself in his own eyes, Too much to detect and hate his sin.For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, [even] when his iniquity is found to be hateful. For he takes comfort in the thought that his sin will not be uncovered and hated. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
Psalms 36:3The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good. The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, to do good.In the words of his mouth are evil and deceit; he has given up being wise and doing good. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
Psalms 36:4He plots iniquity on his bed. He sets himself in a way that is not good; He doesn't abhor evil.He deviseth wickedness up on his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good: he abhorreth not evil.He gives thought to evil on his bed; he takes a way which is not good; he is not a hater of evil.He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.
Psalms 36:5Your lovingkindness, Yahweh, is in the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.Jehovah, thy loving-kindness is in the heavens, and thy faithfulness [reacheth] unto the clouds.Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens, and your strong purpose is as high as the clouds.Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.
Psalms 36:6Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are a great deep. Yahweh, you preserve man and animal.Thy righteousness is like the high mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: thou, Jehovah, preservest man and beast.Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judging is like the great deep; O Lord, you give life to man and beast.Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.
Psalms 36:7How precious is your lovingkindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings. How precious is thy loving-kindness, O God! So the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings. How good is your loving mercy, O God! the children of men take cover under the shade of your wings. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
Psalms 36:8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the abundance of your house. You will make them drink of the river of your pleasures. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. The delights of your house will be showered on them; you will give them drink from the river of your pleasures. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
Psalms 36:9For with you is the spring of life. In your light shall we see light. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. For with you is the fountain of life: in your light we will see light. For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
Psalms 36:10Oh continue your lovingkindness to those who know you, Your righteousness to the upright in heart.Continue thy loving-kindness unto them that know thee, and thy righteousness to the upright in heart;O let there be no end to your loving mercy to those who have knowledge of you, or of your righteousness to the upright in heart.O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.
Psalms 36:11Don't let the foot of pride come against me. Don't let the hand of the wicked drive me away.Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.Let not the foot of pride come against me, or the hand of the evil-doers put me out of my place.Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
Psalms 36:12There the workers of iniquity are fallen. They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise. Psalm 37 By David. There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and are not able to rise. There the workers of evil have come down: they have been made low, and will not be lifted up.There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
