| Psalms 83:1 | God, don't keep silent. Don't keep silent, and don't be still, God. | {A Song; a Psalm of Asaph.} O God, keep not silence; hold not thy peace, and be not still, O ùGod: | <A Song. | Psalms 83:2 | For, behold, your enemies are stirred up. Those who hate you have lifted up their heads. | For behold, thine enemies make a tumult; and they that hate thee lift up the head. | For see! those who make war on you are out of control; your haters are lifting up their heads. | For, lo, Thine enemies do roar, And those hating Thee have lifted up the head, |
| Psalms 83:3 | They conspire with cunning against your people. They plot against your cherished ones. | They take crafty counsel against thy people, and consult against thy hidden ones: | They have made wise designs against your people, talking together against those whom you keep in a secret place. | Against Thy people they take crafty counsel, And consult against Thy hidden ones. |
