| Revelation 9:1 | The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from the sky fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him. | And the fifth angel sounded [his] trumpet: and I saw a star out of the heaven fallen to the earth; and there was given to it the key of the pit of the abyss. | And at the sounding of the fifth angel I saw a star falling from heaven to the earth: and there was given to him the key of the great deep. | And the fifth messenger did sound, and I saw a star out of the heaven having fallen to the earth, and there was given to it the key of the pit of the abyss, |
| Revelation 9:2 | He opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke from a great furnace.
