Job 11:2"Shouldn't the multitude of words be answered? Should a man full of talk be justified?Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man of much talk be justified?Shall not he that speaketh much, hear also? or shall a man full of talk be justified?Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be justified?
Job 11:3Should your boastings make men hold their peace? When you mock, shall no man make you ashamed?Should thy fictions make men hold their peace? and shouldest thou mock, and no one make [thee] ashamed?Shall men hold their peace to thee only? and when thou hast mocked others, shall no man confute thee?Should thy boastings make men hold their peace? And when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?
Job 11:4For you say, 'My doctrine is pure, I am clean in your eyes.'For thou sayest, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.For thou hast said: My word is pure, and I am clean in thy sight.For thou sayest, My doctrine is pure, And I am clean in thine eyes.
Job 11:5But oh that God would speak, And open his lips against you,But oh that +God would speak, and open his lips against thee;And I wish that God would speak with thee, and would open his lips to thee,But oh that God would speak, And open his lips against thee,
Job 11:6That he would show you the secrets of wisdom! For true wisdom has two sides. Know therefore that God exacts of you less than your iniquity deserves.And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, how that they are the double of what is realised; and know that +God passeth by [much] of thine iniquity!That he might shew thee the secrets of wisdom, and that his law is manifold, and thou mightest understand that he exacteth much less of thee, than thy iniquity deserveth.And that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom! For he is manifold in understanding. Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than thine iniquity deserveth.
Job 11:7"Can you fathom the mystery of God? Or can you probe the limits of the Almighty?Canst thou by searching find out +God? canst thou find out the Almighty to perfection?Peradventure thou wilt comprehend the steps of God, and wilt find out the Almighty perfectly?Canst thou by searching find out God? Canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
Job 11:8They are high as heaven. What can you do? Deeper than Sheol: what can you know?[It is as] the heights of heaven; what wilt thou do? deeper than Sheol; what canst thou know?He is higher than heaven, and what wilt thou do ? he is deeper than hell, and how wilt thou know?It is high as heaven; what canst thou do? Deeper than Sheol; what canst thou know?
Job 11:9The measure of it is longer than the earth, And broader than the sea.The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.The measure of him is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.The measure thereof is longer than the earth, And broader than the sea.
Job 11:10If he passes by, or confines, Or convenes a court, then who can oppose him?If he pass by, and shut up, and call to judgment, who can hinder him?If he shall overturn all things, or shall press them together, who shall contradict him?If he pass through, and shut up, And all unto judgment, then who can hinder him?
Job 11:11For he knows false men. He sees iniquity also, even though he doesn't consider it.For he knoweth vain men, and seeth wickedness when [man] doth not consider it;For he knoweth the vanity of men, and when he seeth iniquity, doth he not consider it?For he knoweth false men: He seeth iniquity also, even though he consider it not.
Job 11:12But vain man can become wise If a man can be born as a wild donkey's colt.Yet a senseless man will make bold, though man be born [like] the foal of a wild ass.A vain man is lifted up into pride, and thinketh himself born free like a wild ass's colt.But vain man is void of understanding, Yea, man is born [as] a wild ass's colt.
Job 11:13"If you set your heart aright, Stretch out your hands toward him.If thou prepare thy heart and stretch out thy hands toward him,Rut thou hast hardened thy heart, and hast spread thy hands to him.If thou set thy heart aright, And stretch out thy hands toward him;
Job 11:14If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away, Don't let unrighteousness dwell in your tents.If thou put far away the iniquity which is in thy hand, and let not wrong dwell in thy tents;If thou wilt put away from thee the iniquity that is in thy hand, and lot not injustice remain in thy tabernacle:If iniquity be in thy hand, put it far away, And let not unrighteousness dwell in thy tents.
Job 11:15Surely then shall you lift up your face without spot; Yes, you shall be steadfast, and shall not fear:Surely then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot, and thou shalt be stedfast and shalt not fear:Then mayst thou lift up thy face without spot, and thou shalt be steadfast, and shalt not fear.Surely then shalt thou lift up thy face without spot; Yea, thou shalt be stedfast, and shalt not fear:
Job 11:16For you shall forget your misery; You shall remember it as waters that are passed away,For thou shalt forget misery; as waters that are passed away shalt thou remember it;Thou shalt also forget misery, and remember it only as waters that are passed away.For thou shalt forget thy misery; Thou shalt remember it as waters that are passed away,
Job 11:17Life shall be clearer than the noonday; Though there is darkness, it shall be as the morning.And life shall arise brighter than noonday; though thou be enshrouded in darkness, thou shalt be as the morning,And brightness like that of the noonday, shall arise to thee at evening: and when thou shalt think thyself consumed, thou shalt rise as the day star.And [thy] life shall be clearer than the noonday; Though there be darkness, it shall be as the morning.
Job 11:18You shall be secure, because there is hope; Yes, you shall search, and shall take your rest in safety.And thou shalt have confidence, because there shall be hope; and having searched about [thee], thou shalt take rest in safety.And thou shalt have confidence, hope being set before thee, and being buried thou shalt sleep secure.And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; Yea, thou shalt search [about thee], and shalt take thy rest in safety.
Job 11:19Also you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid; Yes, many shall court your favor.Yea, thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; and many shall seek thy favour.Thou shalt rest, and there shall be none to make thee afraid: and many shall entreat thy face.Also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid; Yea, many shall make suit unto thee.
Job 11:20But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, They shall have no way to flee; Their hope shall be the giving up of the spirit."But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, and [all] refuge shall vanish from them, and their hope [shall be] the breathing out of life.But the eyes of the wicked shall decay, and the way to escape shall fail them, and their hope the abomination of the soul.But the eyes of the wicked shall fail, And they shall have no way to flee; And their hope shall be the giving up of the ghost.
