| Psalms 73:1 | Surely God is good to Israel, To those who are pure in heart. | {A Psalm of Asaph.} Truly God is good to Israel, to such as are of a pure heart. | Understanding for Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast us off unto the end: why is thy wrath enkindled against the sheep of thy pasture? | Surely God is good to Israel, [Even] to such as are pure in heart. |
| Psalms 73:2 | But as for me, my feet were almost gone. My steps had nearly slipped. | But as for me, my feet were almost gone, my steps had well nigh slipped; | Remember thy congregation, which thou hast possessed from the beginning.
