| 1st-Corinthians 12:1 | Now concerning spiritual gifts, brothers, I don't want you to be ignorant. | But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant. | Now concerning spiritual things, my brethren, I would not have you ignorant. | Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:2 | You know that when you were Gentiles, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led. | Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led. | You know that when you were heathens, you went to dumb idols, according as you were led. | Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away to these dumb idols, even as ye were led. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:3 | Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God's Spirit says, "Jesus is accursed." No one can say, "Jesus is Lord," but by the Holy Spirit. | I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit. | Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man, speaking by the Spirit of God, saith Anathema to Jesus. And no man can say the Lord Jesus, but by the Holy Ghost. | Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God, calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:4 | Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. | But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit; | Now there are diversities of graces, but the same Spirit; | Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:5 | There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord. | and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord; | And there are diversities of ministries, but the same Lord; | And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:6 | There are various kinds of workings, but the same God, who works all things in all. | and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all. | And there are diversities of operations, but the same God, who worketh all in all. | And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God who worketh all in all. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:7 | But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all. | But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit. | And the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man unto profit. | But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man for profit. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:8 | For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; | For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; | To one indeed, by the Spirit, is given the word of wisdom: and to another, the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit; | For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another, the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:9 | to another faith, by the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, by the same Spirit; | and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit; | To another, faith in the same spirit; to another, the grace of healing in one Spirit; | To another, faith by the same Spirit; to another, the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:10 | and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; to another different kinds of languages; and to another the interpretation of languages. | and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues. | To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, the discerning of spirits; to another, diverse kinds of tongues; to another, interpretation of speeches. | To another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, discerning of spirits; to another, divers kinds of languages; to another, the interpretation of languages: |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:11 | But the one and the same Spirit works all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires. | But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases. | But all these things one and the same Spirit worketh, dividing to every one according as he will. | But all these worketh that one and the same Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:12 | For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ. | For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ. | For as the body is one, and hath many members; and all the members of the body, whereas they are many, yet are one body, so also is Christ. | For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:13 | For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink into one Spirit. | For also in [the power of] one Spirit *we* have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit. | For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and in one Spirit we have all been made to drink. | For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:14 | For the body is not one member, but many. | For also the body is not one member but many. | For the body also is not one member, but many. | For the body is not one member, but many. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:15 | If the foot would say, "Because I'm not the hand, I'm not part of the body," it is not therefore not part of the body. | If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body? | If the foot should say, because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body ? | If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:16 | If the ear would say, "Because I'm not the eye, I'm not part of the body," it's not therefore not part of the body. | And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body? | And if the ear should say, because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body ? | And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:17 | If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be? | If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling? | If the whole body were the eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? | If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:18 | But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired. | But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him]. | But now God hath set the members every one of them in the body as it hath pleased him. | But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:19 | If they were all one member, where would the body be? | But if all were one member, where the body? | And if they all were one member, where would be the body? | And if they were all one member, where were the body? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:20 | But now they are many members, but one body. | But now the members [are] many, and the body one. | But now there are many members indeed, yet one body. | But now are they many members, yet but one body. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:21 | The eye can't tell the hand, "I have no need for you," or again the head to the feet, "I have no need for you." | The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you. | And the eye cannot say to the hand: I need not thy help; nor again the head to the feet: I have no need of you. | And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:22 | No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary. | But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary; | Yea, much more those that seem to be the more feeble members of the body, are more necessary. | Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:23 | Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant propriety; | and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness; | And such as we think to be the less honourable members of the body, about these we put more abundant honour; and those that are our uncomely parts, have more abundant comeliness. | And those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:24 | whereas our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part, | but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked; | But our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, giving to that which wanted the more abundant honour, | For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked: |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:25 | that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. | that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another. | That there might be no schism in the body; but the members might be mutually careful one for another. | That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:26 | When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. Or when one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. | And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it]. | And if one member suffer any thing, all the members suffer with it; or if one member glory, all the members rejoice with it. | And thus if one member suffers all the members suffer with it; or, if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:27 | Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. | Now *ye* are Christ's body, and members in particular. | Now you are the body of Christ, and members of member. | Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:28 | God has set some in the assembly, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages. | And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues. | And God indeed hath set some in the church; first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly doctors; after that miracles; then the graces of healing, helps, governments, kinds of tongues, interpretations of speeches. | And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, next miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of languages. |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:29 | Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers? | [Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers? | Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all doctors? | Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:30 | Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret? | have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? | Are all workers of miracles? Have all the grace of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? | Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak in languages? do all interpret? |
| 1st-Corinthians 12:31 | But desire earnestly the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you. | But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence. | But be zealous for the better gifts. And I shew unto you yet a more excellent way. | But covet earnestly the best gifts. And yet I show to you a more excellent way. |
