Job 13:2What you know, I know also. I am not inferior to you. What ye know, I know also: I am not inferior to you.According to your knowledge I also know: neither am I inferior to you. What ye know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior to you.
Job 13:3"Surely I would speak to the Almighty. I desire to reason with God.But I will speak to the Almighty, and will find pleasure in reasoning with ùGod;But yet I will speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
Job 13:4But you are forgers of lies. You are all physicians of no value. For ye indeed are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.Having first shewn that you are forgers of lies, and maintainers of perverse opinions. But ye are forgers of lies, ye are all physicians of no value.
Job 13:5Oh that you would be completely silent! Then you would be wise.Oh that ye would be altogether silent! and it would be your wisdom. And I wish you would hold your peace, that you might be thought to be wise men..O that ye would altogether hold your peace and it would be your wisdom.
Job 13:6Hear now my reasoning. Listen to the pleadings of my lips.Hear now my defence, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.Hear ye therefore my reproof, and attend to the judgment of my lips.Hear now my reasoning, and hearken to the pleadings of my lips.
Job 13:7Will you speak unrighteously for God, And talk deceitfully for him? Will ye speak unrighteously for ùGod? and for him speak deceit?Hath God any need of your lie, that you should speak deceitfully for him? Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?
Job 13:8Will you show partiality to him? Will you contend for God?Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for ùGod?Do you accept his person, and do you endeavour to judge for God?Will ye accept his person? will ye contend for God?
Job 13:9Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceives a man, will you deceive him? Will it be well if he should search you out? or as one mocketh at a man, will ye mock at him?Or shall it please him, from whom nothing can be concealed ? or shall he be deceived as a man, with your deceitful dealings ?Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye so mock him?
Job 13:10He will surely reprove you If you secretly show partiality. He will certainly reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons. He shall reprove you, because in secret you accept his person. He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
Job 13:11Shall not his majesty make you afraid, And his dread fall on you?Shall not his excellency terrify you? and his dread fall upon you?As soon as he shall move himself, he shall trouble you: and his dread shall fall upon you.Shall not his excellence make you afraid? and his dread fall upon you?
Job 13:12Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes, Your defenses are defenses of clay.Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashes, your bulwarks are bulwarks of mire.Your remembrance shall be compared to ashes, and your necks shall be brought to clay.Your remembrances are like to ashes, your bodies to bodies of clay.
Job 13:13"Be silent, leave me alone, that I may speak. Let come on me what will.Hold your peace from me, and I will speak, and let come on me what [will]!Hold your peace a little while, that I may speak whatsoever my mind shall suggest to me.Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speak, and let come on me what will.
Job 13:14Why should I take my flesh in my teeth, And put my life in my hand?Wherefore should I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand? Why do I tear my flesh with my teeth, and carry my soul in my hands? Why do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in my hand?
Job 13:15Behold, he will kill me; I have no hope. Nevertheless, I will maintain my ways before him.Behold, if he slay me, yet would I trust in him; but I will defend mine own ways before him.Although he should bill me, I will trust in him: but yet I will reprove my ways in his sight.Though he shall slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain my own ways before him.
Job 13:16This also shall be my salvation, That a godless man shall not come before him. This also shall be my salvation, that a profane man shall not come before his face. And he shall be my saviour: for no hypocrite shall come before his presence. He also shall be my salvation: for a hypocrite shall not come before him.
Job 13:17Hear diligently my speech. Let my declaration be in your ears.Hear attentively my speech and my declaration with your ears.Hear ye my speech, and receive with Sour ears hidden truths.Hear diligently my speech, and my declaration with your ears.
Job 13:18See now, I have set my cause in order. I know that I am righteous.Behold now, I have ordered the cause; I know that I shall be justified. If I shall be judged, I know that I shall be found just.Behold now, I have ordered my cause; I know that I shall be justified.
Job 13:19Who is he who will contend with me? For then would I hold my peace and give up the spirit.Who is he that contendeth with me? For if I were silent now, I should expire.Who is he that will plead against me? let him come: why am I consumed holding my peace?Who is he that will plead with me? for now, if I hold my tongue, I shall expire.
Job 13:20"Only don't do two things to me; Then I will not hide myself from your face:Only do not two things unto me; then will I not hide myself from thee. Two things only do not to me, and then from thy face I shall not be hid:Only do not two things to me: then will I not hide myself from thee.
Job 13:21Withdraw your hand far from me; And don't let your terror make me afraid.Withdraw thy hand far from me; and let not thy terror make me afraid:Withdraw thy hand far from me, and let not thy dread terrify me.Withdraw thy hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid.
Job 13:22Then call, and I will answer; Or let me speak, and you answer me.Then call, and I will answer; or I will speak, and answer thou me.Call me, and I will answer thee: or else I will speak, and do thou answer me.Then call thou, and I will answer: or let me speak, and answer thou me.
Job 13:23How many are my iniquities and sins? Make me know my disobedience and my sin.How many are mine iniquities and sins? Make me to know my transgression and my sin.How many are my iniquities and sins? make me know my crimes and offences. How many are my iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression and my sin.
Job 13:24Why hide you your face, And hold me for your enemy?Wherefore dost thou hide thy face, and countest me for thine enemy? Why hidest thou thy face, and thinkest me thy enemy? Why hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thy enemy?
Job 13:25Will you harass a driven leaf? Will you pursue the dry stubble?Wilt thou terrify a driven leaf? and wilt thou pursue dry stubble?Against a leaf, that is carried away with the wind, thou shewest thy power, and thou pursuest a dry straw.Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?
Job 13:26For you write bitter things against me, And make me inherit the iniquities of my youth:For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth; For thou writest bitter things against me, and wilt consume me for the sins of my youth. For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.
Job 13:27You also put my feet in the stocks, And mark all my paths. You set a bound to the soles of my feet:And thou puttest my feet in the stocks, and markest all my paths; thou settest a bound about the soles of my feet;Thou hast put my feet in the stocks, and hast observed all my paths, and hast considered the steps of my feet:Thou puttest my feet also in the stocks, and lookest narrowly to all my paths; thou settest a print upon the heels of my feet.
Job 13:28Though I am decaying like a rotten thing, Like a garment that is moth-eaten.One who, as a rotten thing consumeth, as a garment that the moth eateth.Who am to be consumed as rottenness, and as a garment that is moth-eaten.And he, as a rotten thing, consumeth, as a garment that is moth-eaten.
