Job 15:2"Should a wise man answer with vain knowledge, And fill himself with the east wind?Should a wise man answer with windy knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind,Will a wise man answer as if he were speaking in the wind, and fill his stomach with burning heat?Should a wise men utter vain knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?
Job 15:3Should he reason with unprofitable talk, Or with speeches with which he can do no good?Reasoning with unprofitable talk, and with speeches which do no good?Thou reprovest him by words, who is not equal to thee, and thou speakest that which is not good for thee.Should he reason with unprofitable talk? or with speeches with which he can do no good?
Job 15:4Yes, you do away with fear, And hinder devotion before God.Yea, thou makest piety of none effect, and restrainest meditation before ùGod.As much as is in thee, thou hast made void fear, and hast taken away prayers from before God.Yes, thou castest off fear, and restrainest prayer before God.
Job 15:5For your iniquity teaches your mouth, And you choose the language of the crafty.For thy mouth uttereth thine iniquity, and thou hast chosen the tongue of the crafty.For thy iniquity hath taught thy mouth, and thou imitatest the tongue of blasphemers.For thy mouth uttereth thy iniquity, and thou choosest the tongue of the crafty.
Job 15:6Your own mouth condemns you, and not I; Yes, your own lips testify against you.Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I; and thy lips testify against thee.Thy own mouth shall condemn thee, and not I: and thy own lips shall answer thee.Thy own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yes, thy own lips testify against thee.
Job 15:7"Are you the first man who was born? Or were you brought forth before the hills?Art thou the first man that was born? and wast thou brought forth before the hills?Art thou the first man that was born, or wast thou made before the hills ?Art thou the first man that was born? or wast thou made before the hills?
Job 15:8Have you heard the secret counsel of God? Do you limit wisdom to yourself?Hast thou listened in the secret council of +God? And hast thou absorbed wisdom for thyself?Hast thou heard God's counsel, and shall his wisdom be inferior to thee?Hast thou heard the secret of God? and dost thou restrain wisdom to thyself?
Job 15:9What do you know, that we don't know? What do you understand, which is not in us?What knowest thou that we know not? [what] understandest thou which is not in us?What knowest thou that we are ignorant of? what dost thou understand that we know not?What knowest thou that we know not? what understandest thou, which is not in us?
Job 15:10With us are both the gray-headed and the very aged men, Much elder than your father.Both the greyheaded and the aged are with us, older than thy father.There are with us also aged and ancient men, much elder than thy fathers.With us are both the gray headed and very aged men, much older than thy father.
Job 15:11Are the consolations of God too small for you, Even the word that is gentle toward you?Are the consolations of ùGod too small for thee? and the word gently spoken to thee?Is it a great matter that God should comfort thee? but thy wicked words hinder this.Are the consolations of God small with thee? is there any secret thing with thee?
Job 15:12Why does your heart carry you away? Why do your eyes flash,Why doth thy heart carry thee away? and why do thine eyes wink?Why doth thy heart elevate thee, and why dost thou stare with thy eyes, as if they were thinking great things ?Why doth thy heart carry thee away? and what do thy eyes wink at,
Job 15:13That you turn your spirit against God, And let such words go out of your mouth?That thou turnest thy spirit against ùGod, and lettest words go out of thy mouth?Why doth thy spirit swell against God, to utter such words out of thy mouth ?That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth?
Job 15:14What is man, that he should be clean? He who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?What is man, that he should be pure? and he that is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?What is man that he should be without spot, and he that is born of a woman that he should appear just?What is man, that he should be clean? and he who is born of a woman, that he should be righteous?
Job 15:15Behold, he puts no trust in his holy ones; Yes, the heavens are not clean in his sight:Behold, he putteth no trust in his holy ones, and the heavens are not pure in his sight:Behold among his saints none is unchangeable, and the heavens are not pure in his sight.Behold, he putteth no trust in his saints; yes, the heavens are not clean in his sight.
Job 15:16How much less one who is abominable and corrupt, A man who drinks iniquity like water!How much less the abominable and corrupt, man, that drinketh unrighteousness like water!How much more is man abominable, and unprofitable, who drinketh iniquity like water?How much more abominable and filthy is man, who drinketh iniquity like water?
