Job 27:1Job again took up his parable, and said,And Job continued his parable and said,Job also added, taking up his parable, and said:Moreover, Job continued his parable, and said,
Job 27:2"As God lives, who has taken away my right, The Almighty, who has made my soul bitter.[As] ùGod liveth, who hath taken away my right, and the Almighty, who hath embittered my soul,As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment, and the Almighty, who hath brought my soul to bitterness,As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty who hath afflicted my soul;
Job 27:3(For the length of my life is still in me, And the spirit of God is in my nostrils);All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of +God is in my nostrils,As long as breath remaineth in me, and the spirit of God in my nostrils,All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;
Job 27:4Surely my lips shall not speak unrighteousness, Neither shall my tongue utter deceit.My lips shall not speak unrighteousness, nor my tongue utter deceit!My lips shall not speak iniquity, neither shall my tongue contrive lying.My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
Job 27:5Far be it from me that I should justify you. Until I die I will not put away my integrity from me.Be it far from me that I should justify you; till I die I will not remove my blamelessness from me.God forbid that I should judge you to be just: till I die I will not depart from my innocence.Far be it from me that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove my integrity from me.
Job 27:6I hold fast to my righteousness, and will not let it go. My heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart reproacheth [me] not one of my days.My justification, which I have begun to hold, I will not forsake: for my heart doth not reprehend me in all my life.My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.
Job 27:7"Let my enemy be as the wicked, Let him who rises up against me be as the unrighteous.Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.Let my enemy be as the ungodly, and my adversary as the wicked one.Let my enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.
Job 27:8For what is the hope of the godless, when he is cut off, When God takes away his life?For what is the hope of the ungodly, when [God] cutteth him off, when +God taketh away his soul?For what is the hope of the hypocrite if through covetousness he take by violence, and God deliver not his soul?For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?
Job 27:9Will God hear his cry, When trouble comes on him?Will ùGod hear his cry when distress cometh upon him?Will God hear his cry, when distress shall come upon him?Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?
Job 27:10Will he delight himself in the Almighty, And call on God at all times?Doth he delight himself in the Almighty? will he at all times call upon +God?Or can he delight himself in the Almighty, and call upon God at all times?Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?
Job 27:11I will teach you about the hand of God. That which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.I will teach you concerning the hand of ùGod; what is with the Almighty will I not conceal.I will teach you by the hand of God, what the Almighty hath, and I will not conceal it.I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
Job 27:12Behold, all of you have seen it yourselves; Why then have you become altogether vain?Behold, ye yourselves have all seen [it]; and why are ye thus altogether vain?Behold you all know it, and why do you speak vain things without cause?Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?
Job 27:13"This is the portion of a wicked man with God, The heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.This is the portion of the wicked man with ùGod, and the heritage of the violent, which they receive from the Almighty:This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the inheritance of the violent, which they shall receive of the Almighty.This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.
Job 27:14If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword. His offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword, and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread;If his sons be multiplied, they shall be for the sword, and his grandsons shall not be filled with bread.If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.
Job 27:15Those who remain of him shall be buried in death. His widows shall make no lamentation.Those that remain of him shall be buried by death, and his widows shall not weep.They that shall remain of him, shall be buried in death, and his widows shall not weep.Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.
Job 27:16Though he heap up silver as the dust, And prepare clothing as the clay;Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare clothing as the clay;If he shall heap together silver as earth, and prepare raiment as clay,Though he should heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay?
Job 27:17He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, And the innocent shall divide the silver.He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on; and the innocent shall divide the silver.He shall prepare indeed, but the just man shall be clothed with it: and the innocent shall divide the silver.He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.
Job 27:18He builds his house as the moth, As a booth which the watchman makes.He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a booth that a keeper maketh.He hath built his house as a moth, and as a keeper he hath made a booth.He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.
Job 27:19He lies down rich, but he shall not do so again. He opens his eyes, and he is not.He lieth down rich, but will do so no more; he openeth his eyes, and he is not.The rich man when he shall sleep shall take away nothing with him: he shall open his eyes and find nothing.The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
Job 27:20Terrors overtake him like waters; A tempest steals him away in the night.Terrors overtake him like waters; a whirlwind stealeth him away in the night.Poverty like water shall take hold on him, a tempest shall oppress him in the night.Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.
Job 27:21The east wind carries him away, and he departs; It sweeps him out of his place.The east wind carrieth him away and he is gone; and as a storm it hurleth him out of his place.A burning wind shall take him up, and carry him away, and as a whirlwind shall snatch him from his place.The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.
Job 27:22For it hurls at him, and does not spare, As he flees away from his hand.And [God] shall cast upon him and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.And he shall cast upon him, and shall not spare: out of his hand he would willingly flee.For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
Job 27:23Men shall clap their hands at him, And shall hiss him out of his place.[Men] shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.He shall clasp his hands upon him, and shall hiss at him, beholding his place.Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
