| Psalms 45:1 | My heart overflows with a noble theme. I recite my verses for the king. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer. | {To the chief Musician. Upon Shoshannim. Of the sons of Korah. An instruction; a song of the Beloved.} My heart is welling forth [with] a good matter: I say what I have composed touching the king. My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. | Unto the end, for the sons of Core, for the hidden. | |
| Psalms 45:2 | You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, Therefore God has blessed you forever. | Thou art fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. | Our God is our refuge and strength: a helper in troubles, which have found us exceedingly. | |
| Psalms 45:3 | Gird your sword on your thigh, mighty one, Your splendor and your majesty. | Gird thy sword upon [thy] thigh, O mighty one, [in] thy majesty and thy splendour; | Therefore we will not fear, when the earth shall be troubled; and the mountains shall be removed into the heart of the sea. | |
