Isaiah 43:1But now thus says Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: Don't be afraid, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name, you are mine.But now thus saith Jehovah, that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou art mine.
Isaiah 43:2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle on you.When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee; when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Isaiah 43:3For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I have given Egypt as your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.For I [am] Jehovah thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
Isaiah 43:4Since you have been precious in my sight, [and] honorable, and I have loved you; therefore will I give men in your place, and peoples instead of your life.Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee; and I will give men for thee, and peoples for thy life.
Isaiah 43:5Don't be afraid; for I am with you: I will bring your seed from the east, and gather you from the west;Fear not, for I [am] with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;
Isaiah 43:6I will tell the north, Give up; and to the south, Don't keep back; bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the end of the earth;I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the end of the earth,
Isaiah 43:7everyone who is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made.every one that is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory: I have formed him, yea, I have made him.
Isaiah 43:8Bring forth the blind people who have eyes, and the deaf who have ears.Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.
Isaiah 43:9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled: who among them can declare this, and show us former things? let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, It is truth.Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the peoples be assembled: who among them declareth this, or causeth us to hear former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified; or let them hear, and say, [It is] truth.
Isaiah 43:10You are my witnesses, says Yahweh, and my servant whom I have chosen; that you may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, and my servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] HE: before me there was no ùGod formed, neither shall there be after me.
Isaiah 43:11I, even I, am Yahweh; and besides me there is no savior.I, I [am] Jehovah; and besides me there is no saviour.
Isaiah 43:12I have declared, and I have saved, and I have showed; and there was no strange [god] among you: therefore you are my witnesses, says Yahweh, and I am God.It is I that have declared, and have saved, and have shewed, when there was no strange [god] among you; and ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, that I [am] ùGod.
Isaiah 43:13Yes, since the day was I am he; and there is none who can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who can hinder it?Yea, since the day was, I [am] HE, and there is none that delivereth out of my hand: I will work, and who shall hinder it?
Isaiah 43:14Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and I will bring down all of them as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, in the ships of their rejoicing.Thus saith Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought all of them down as fugitives, even the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships.
Isaiah 43:15I am Yahweh, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.I [am] Jehovah, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.
Isaiah 43:16Thus says Yahweh, who makes a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;Thus saith Jehovah, who maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters,
Isaiah 43:17who brings forth the chariot and horse, the army and the mighty man (they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched as a wick):who bringeth forth chariot and horse, army and power they lie down together, they shall not rise; they are extinct, they are quenched as tow:
Isaiah 43:18Don't remember the former things, neither consider the things of old.Remember not the former things, neither consider the ancient things:
Isaiah 43:19Behold, I will do a new thing; now shall it spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.behold, I do a new thing; now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the waste.
Isaiah 43:20The animals of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,The beast of the field shall glorify me, the jackals and the ostriches; for I will give waters in the wilderness, rivers in the waste, to give drink to my people, my chosen.
Isaiah 43:21the people which I formed for myself, that they might set forth my praise.This people have I formed for myself: they shall shew forth my praise.
Isaiah 43:22Yet you have not called on me, Jacob; but you have been weary of me, Israel.But thou hast not called upon me, Jacob; for thou hast been weary of me, O Israel:
Isaiah 43:23You have not brought me of your sheep for burnt offerings; neither have you honored me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, nor wearied you with frankincense.thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt-offerings, neither hast thou glorified me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to toil with an oblation, nor wearied thee with incense.
Isaiah 43:24You have bought me no sweet cane with money, neither have you filled me with the fat of your sacrifices; but you have burdened me with your sins, you have wearied me with your iniquities.Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices; but thou hast made me to toil with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.
Isaiah 43:25I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake; and I will not remember your sins.I, I [am] He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and I will not remember thy sins.
Isaiah 43:26Put me in remembrance; let us plead together: set you forth [your cause], that you may be justified.Put me in remembrance, let us plead together; rehearse thine own [cause], that thou mayest be justified.
Isaiah 43:27Your first father sinned, and your teachers have transgressed against me.Thy first father hath sinned, and thy mediators have rebelled against me.
Isaiah 43:28Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary; and I will make Jacob a curse, and Israel a reviling.And I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the ban, and Israel to reproaches.
