Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Shall not my soul be subject to God? for from him is my salvation. From the end of the earth will I cry to thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Psalms 61:3For you have been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. For he is my God and my saviour: he is my protector, I shall be moved no more. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
Psalms 61:4I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah.I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Psalms 61:5For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name. For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name. But they have thought to cast away my price; I ran in thirst: they blessed with their mouth, but cursed with their heart. For thou, O God, hast heard my vows: thou hast given me the heritage of those that fear thy name.
Psalms 61:6You will prolong the king's life; His years shall be for generations.Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations. But be thou, O my soul, subject to God: for from him is my patience.Thou wilt prolong the king's life: and his years as many generations.
Psalms 61:7He shall be enthroned in God's presence forever. Appoint your lovingkindness and truth, that they may preserve him.He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.For he is my God and my saviour: he is my helper, I shall not be moved. He shall abide before God for ever: O prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him.
