Song-of-Solomon 4:1Behold, you are beautiful, my love. Behold, you are beautiful. Your eyes are doves behind your veil. Your hair is as a flock of goats, That descend from Mount Gilead.Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves' eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.See, you are fair, my love, you are fair; you have the eyes of a dove; your hair is as a flock of goats, which take their rest on the side of Gilead.Lo, thou [art] fair, my friend, lo, thou [art] fair, Thine eyes [are] doves behind thy veil, Thy hair as a row of the goats That have shone from mount Gilead,
Song-of-Solomon 4:2Your teeth are like a newly shorn flock, Which have come up from the washing, Where every one of them has twins. None is bereaved among them.Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; all of which bear twins, and none is barren among them.Your teeth are like a flock of sheep whose wool is newly cut, which come up from the washing; every one has two lambs, and there is not one without young.Thy teeth as a row of the shorn ones That have come up from the washing, For all of them are forming twins, And a bereaved one is not among them.
Song-of-Solomon 4:3Your lips are like scarlet thread. Your mouth is lovely. Your temples are like a piece of a pomegranate behind your veil.Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of pomegranate within thy locks.Your red lips are like a bright thread, and your mouth is fair of form; the sides of your head are like pomegranate fruit under your veil.As a thread of scarlet [are] thy lips, And thy speech [is] comely, As the work of the pomegranate [is] thy temple behind thy veil,
Song-of-Solomon 4:4Your neck is like David's tower built for an armory, Whereon there hang a thousand shields, All the shields of the mighty men.Thy neck is like the tower of David built for an armory, on which hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.Your neck is like the tower of David made for a store-house of arms, in which a thousand breastplates are hanging, breastplates for fighting-men.As the tower of David [is] thy neck, built for an armoury, The chief of the shields are hung on it, All shields of the mighty.
Song-of-Solomon 4:5Your two breasts are like two fawns That are twins of a roe, Which feed among the lilies.Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.Your two breasts are like two young roes of the same birth, which take their food among the lilies.Thy two breasts [are] as two fawns, Twins of a roe, that are feeding among lilies.
Song-of-Solomon 4:6Until the day is cool, and the shadows flee away, I will go to the mountain of myrrh, To the hill of frankincense.Until the day shall break, and the shadows flee away, I will repair to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.Till the evening comes, and the sky slowly becomes dark, I will go to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.Till the day doth break forth, And the shadows have fled away, I will get me unto the mountain of myrrh, And unto the hill of frankincense.
Song-of-Solomon 4:7You are all beautiful, my love. There is no spot in you.Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. You are all fair, my love; there is no mark on you.Thou [art] all fair, my friend, And a blemish there is not in thee. Come from Lebanon, O spouse,

You have ravished my heart with one of your eyes, With one chain of your neck.Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister, my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thy eyes, with one chain of thy neck. You have taken away my heart, my sister, my bride; you have taken away my heart, with one look you have taken it, with one chain of your neck!Thou hast emboldened me, my sister-spouse, Emboldened me with one of thine eyes, With one chain of thy neck.

The fragrance of your perfumes than all manner of spices! How fair is thy love, my sister, my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thy ointments than all spices! How fair is your love, my sister! How much better is your love than wine, and the smell of your oils than any perfume! How wonderful have been thy loves, my sister-spouse, How much better have been thy loves than wine, And the fragrance of thy perfumes than all spices.
Song-of-Solomon 4:11Your lips, my bride, drip like the honeycomb. Honey and milk are under your tongue. The smell of your garments is like the smell of Lebanon.Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honey-comb; honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.Your lips are dropping honey; honey and milk are under your tongue; and the smell of your clothing is like the smell of Lebanon.Thy lips drop honey, O spouse, Honey and milk [are] under thy tongue, And the fragrance of thy garments [Is] as the fragrance of Lebanon.
