| Psalms 41:1 | Blessed is he who considers the poor: Yahweh will deliver him in the day of evil. | To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in the time of trouble. | Unto the end, understanding for the sons of Core. | <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> Happy is the man who gives thought to the poor; the Lord will be his saviour in the time of trouble. |
| Psalms 41:2 | Yahweh will preserve him, and keep him alive, He shall be blessed on the earth, And he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies. | The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him to the will of his enemies. | As the hart panteth after the fountains of water; so my soul panteth after thee, O God. | The Lord will keep him safe, and give him life; the Lord will let him be a blessing on the earth, and will not give him into the hand of his haters. |

| Psalms 41:5 | My enemies speak evil against me: "When will he die, and his name perish?" | My enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish? | These things I remembered, and poured out my soul in me : for I shall go over into the place of the wonderful tabernacle, even to the house of God : With the voice of joy and praise; the noise of one feasting. | My haters say evil against me, When will he be dead, and his name come to an end? |
| Psalms 41:6 | If he come to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it. | And if he cometh to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it. | Why art thou sad, O my soul? and why dost thou trouble me? Hope in God, for I will still give praise to him : the salvation of my countenance, | If one comes to see me, deceit is in his heart; he keeps a store of evil, which he makes public in every place. |

Why hast thou forgotten me? and why go I mourning, whilst my enemy afflicteth me? | But you, O Lord, have mercy on me, lifting me up, so that I may give them their punishment. |
| Psalms 41:11 | By this I know that you delight in me, Because my enemy doesn't triumph over me. | By this I know that thou favorest me, because my enemy doth not triumph over me. | Whilst my bones are broken, my enemies who trouble me have reproached me; Whilst they say to me day be day : Where is thy God? | By this I see that you have pleasure in me, because my hater does not overcome me. |
| Psalms 41:12 | As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, And set me in your presence forever. | And as for me, thou upholdest me in my integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever. | Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why dost thou disquiet me? Hope thou in God, for I will still give praise to him : the salvation of my countenance, and my God. | And as for me, you are my support in my righteousness, giving me a place before your face for ever. |
