| Psalms 21:1 | The king rejoices in your strength, Yahweh! How greatly he rejoices in your salvation! | To the chief Musician, a Psalm of David. The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! | Unto the end, for the morning protection, a psalm for David. | |
| Psalms 21:2 | You have given him his heart's desire, And have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah. | Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withheld the request of his lips. Selah. | O God my God, look upon me: why hast thou forsaken me? Far from my salvation are the words of my sins. | |
