| Isaiah 11:1 | There shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit. | And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots: | And there shall come forth a rod out of the root of Jesse, and a flower shall rise up out of his root. | And a rod hath come out from the stock of Jesse, And a branch from his roots is fruitful. |
| Isaiah 11:2 | The Spirit of Yahweh shall rest on him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh. | And the spirit of the LORD will rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; | And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him: the spirit of wisdom, and of understanding, the spirit of counsel, and of fortitude, the spirit of knowledge, and of godliness. | Rested on him hath the Spirit of Jehovah, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and might, The spirit of knowledge and fear of Jehovah. |

He shall not judge according to the sight of the eyes, nor reprove according to the hearing of the ears. | To refresh him in the fear of Jehovah, And by the sight of his eyes he judgeth not, Nor by the hearing of his ears decideth. |
