Psalms 33:1Rejoice in Yahweh, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.For David, when he changed his countenance before Achimelech, who dismissed him, and he went his way. [1 Kings 21.]Sing, ye righteous, in Jehovah, For upright ones praise [is] comely.

Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings.Praise the LORD with harp: sing to him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise shall be always in my mouth.Give ye thanks to Jehovah with a harp, With psaltery of ten strings sing praise to Him,
Psalms 33:3Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!Sing to him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.In the Lord shall my soul be praised: let the meek hear and rejoice.Sing ye to Him a new song, Play skilfully with shouting.
Psalms 33:4For the word of Yahweh is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.O magnify the Lord with me; and let us extol his name together.For upright [is] the word of Jehovah, And all His work [is] in faithfulness.
Psalms 33:5He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the lovingkindness of Yahweh.He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.I sought the Lord, and he heard me; and he delivered me from all my troubles.Loving righteousness and judgment, Of the kindness of Jehovah is the earth full.
Psalms 33:6By the word of Yahweh were the heavens made, All the host of them by the breath of his mouth.By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.Come ye to him and be enlightened: and your faces shall not be confounded.By the word of Jehovah The heavens have been made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
Psalms 33:7He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap: he layeth up the depth in store-houses.This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him: and saved him out of all his troubles.Gathering as a heap the waters of the sea, Putting in treasuries the depths.
Psalms 33:8Let all the earth fear Yahweh. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.The angel of the Lord shall encamp round about them that fear him: and shall deliver them.Afraid of Jehovah are all the earth, Of Him are all the inhabitants of the world afraid.
Psalms 33:9For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.O taste, and see that the Lord is sweet: blessed is the man that hopeth in him.For He hath said, and it is, He hath commanded, and it standeth.
Psalms 33:10Yahweh brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to naught: he maketh the devices of the people of no effect.Fear the Lord, all ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.Jehovah made void the counsel of nations, He disallowed the thoughts of the peoples.
Psalms 33:11The counsel of Yahweh stands fast forever, The thoughts of his heart to all generations.The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.The rich have wanted, and have suffered hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not be deprived of any good.The counsel of Jehovah to the age standeth, The thoughts of His heart to all generations.
Psalms 33:12Blessed is the nation whose God is Yahweh, The people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.Come, children, hearken to me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.O the happiness of the nation whose God [is] Jehovah, Of the people He did choose, For an inheritance to Him.
Psalms 33:13Yahweh looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men.Who is the man that desireth life: who loveth to see good days?From the heavens hath Jehovah looked, He hath seen all the sons of men.
Psalms 33:14From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth.From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.From the fixed place of His dwelling, He looked unto all inhabitants of the earth;
Psalms 33:15He who fashions all of their hearts. He considers all of their works.He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works.Turn away from evil and do good: seek after peace and pursue it.Who is forming their hearts together, Who is attending unto all their works.
Psalms 33:16There is no king saved by the multitude of a host. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.There is no king saved by the multitude of a host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.The eyes of the Lord are upon the just: and his ears unto their prayers.The king is not saved by the multitude of a force. A mighty man is not delivered, By abundance of power.
Psalms 33:17A horse is a vain thing for safety, Neither does he deliver any by his great power.A horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.But the countenance of the Lord is against them that do evil things: to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.A false thing [is] the horse for safety, And by the abundance of his strength He doth not deliver.
Psalms 33:18Behold, the eye of Yahweh is on those who fear him, On those who hope in his lovingkindness;Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;The just cried, and the Lord heard them: and delivered them out of all their troubles.Lo, the eye of Jehovah [is] to those fearing Him, To those waiting for His kindness,
