Psalms 72:3The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people; The hills bring the fruit of righteousness. The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.Because I had a zeal on occasion of the wicked, seeing the prosperity of sinners. The mountains bear peace to the people, And the heights by righteousness.
Psalms 72:4He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, And will break the oppressor in pieces. He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. For there is no regard to their death, nor is there strength in their stripes. He judgeth the poor of the people, Giveth deliverance to the sons of the needy, And bruiseth the oppressor.
Psalms 72:5They shall fear you while the sun endures; And as long as the moon, throughout all generations. They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. They are not in the labour of men: neither shall they be scourged like other men. B Therefore pride hath held them fast: they are covered with their iniquity and their wickedness. They fear Thee with the sun, and before the moon, Generation generations.
Psalms 72:6He will come down like rain on the mown grass, As showers that water the earth. He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.Their iniquity hath come forth, as it were from fatness: they have passed into the affection of the heart. He cometh down as rain on mown grass, As showers sprinkling the earth.
Psalms 72:7In his days, the righteous shall flourish, And abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. They have thought and spoken wickedness: they have spoken iniquity on high.Flourish in his days doth the righteous, And abundance of peace till the moon is not.
Psalms 72:8He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, From the River to the ends of the earth. He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the earth. They have set their mouth against heaven: and their tongue hath passed through the earth. And he ruleth from sea unto sea, And from the river unto the ends of earth.
Psalms 72:9Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. Psalms 72:10The kings of Tarshish and of the isles will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. And they said: How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?Kings of Tarshish and of the isles send back a present. Kings of Sheba and Seba a reward bring near.
Psalms 72:11Yes, all kings shall fall down before him. Psalms 72:12For he will deliver the needy when he cries; The poor, who has no helper. For he shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. And I said: Then have I in vain justified my heart, and washed my hands among the innocent. For he delivereth the needy who crieth, And the poor when he hath no helper,
Psalms 72:13He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy. He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy. And I have been scourged all the day; and my chastisement hath been in the mornings. He hath pity on the poor and needy, And the souls of the needy he saveth,
Psalms 72:14He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight. He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall be their blood in his sight. If I said: I will speak thus; behold I should condemn the generation of thy children. From fraud and from violence he redeemeth their soul, And precious is their blood in his eyes.
Psalms 72:15They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. Men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all day long. And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.I studied that I might know this thing, it is a labour in my sight:And he liveth, and giveth to him of the gold of Sheba, And prayeth for him continually, All the day he doth bless him.
Psalms 72:16There shall be abundance of grain throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field. There shall be a handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit of it shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.Until I go into the sanctuary of God, and understand concerning their last ends. There is a handful of corn in the earth, On the top of mountains, Shake like Lebanon doth its fruit, And they flourish out of the city as the herb of the earth.

All nations will call him blessed. His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed. But indeed for deceits thou hast put it to them: when they were lifted up thou hast cast them down. His name is to the age, Before the sun is his name continued, And they bless themselves in him, All nations do pronounce him happy.
