| Psalms 72:1 | God, give the king your justice; Your righteousness to the royal son. | A Psalm for Solomon. Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness to the king's son. | A psalm for Asaph. How good is God to Israel, to them that are of a right heart! | By Solomon. O God, Thy judgments to the king give, And Thy righteousness to the king`s son. |
| Psalms 72:2 | He will judge your people with righteousness, And your poor with justice. | He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. | But my feet were almost moved; my steps had well nigh slipped. | He judgeth Thy people with righteousness, And Thy poor with judgment. |

Their blood will be precious in his sight. | He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall be their blood in his sight. | If I said: I will speak thus; behold I should condemn the generation of thy children. | From fraud and from violence he redeemeth their soul, And precious is their blood in his eyes. |
