Psalms 19:1The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork.Unto the end. A psalm for David.To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth the work of his hands.
Psalms 19:2Day after day they pour forth speech, And night after night they display knowledge.May the Lord hear thee in the day of tribulation: may the name of the God of Jacob protect thee.Day to day uttereth speech, and night to night showeth knowledge.
Psalms 19:3There is no speech nor language, Where their voice is not heard.May he send thee help from the sanctuary: and defend thee out of Sion.There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
Psalms 19:4Their voice has gone out through all the earth, Their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,May he be mindful of all thy sacrifices: and may thy whole burnt offering be made fat.Their line hath gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. Psalms 19:5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, Like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.May he give thee according to thy own heart; and confirm all thy counsels.Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
Psalms 19:6His going forth is from the end of the heavens, His circuit to the ends of it; There is nothing hid from the heat of it.We will rejoice in thy salvation; and in the name of our God we shall be exalted.His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit to the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from his heat.
Psalms 19:7The law of Yahweh is perfect, restoring the soul. The testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple.The Lord fulfil all thy petitions: now have I known that the Lord hath saved his anointed. He will hear him from his holy heaven: the salvation of his right hand is in powers.The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Psalms 19:8The precepts of Yahweh are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the eyes.Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will call upon the name of the Lord our God.The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Psalms 19:9The fear of Yahweh is clean, enduring forever. The ordinances of Yahweh are true, and righteous altogether.They are bound, and have fallen; but we are risen, and are set upright. O Lord, save the king: and hear us in the day that we shall call upon thee.The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
Psalms 19:10More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honey-comb.
Psalms 19:11Moreover by them is your servant warned. In keeping them there is great reward.Moreover, by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Psalms 19:12Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
Psalms 19:13Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me.
