Psalms 26:1By David. Judge me, O Jehovah, for I in mine integrity have walked, And in Jehovah I have trusted, I slide not.Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in Jehovah without wavering. <Of David.> O Lord, be my judge, for my behaviour has been upright: I have put my faith in the Lord, I am not in danger of slipping.{[A Psalm] of David.} Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.
Psalms 26:2Try me, O Jehovah, and prove me, Purified [are] my reins and my heart.Examine me, O Jehovah, and prove me; Try my heart and my mind. Put me in the scales, O Lord, so that I may be tested; let the fire make clean my thoughts and my heart.Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:
Psalms 26:3For Thy kindness [is] before mine eyes, And I have walked habitually in Thy truth.For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes; And I have walked in thy truth. For your mercy is before my eyes; and I have gone in the way of your good faith.For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.
Psalms 26:4I have not sat with vain men, And with dissemblers I enter not.I have not sat with men of falsehood; Neither will I go in with dissemblers. I have not taken my seat with foolish persons, and I do not go with false men.I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;
Psalms 26:5I have hated the assembly of evil doers, And with the wicked I sit not.I hate the assembly of evil-doers, And will not sit with the wicked. I have been a hater of the band of wrongdoers, and I will not be seated among sinners.I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.
Psalms 26:6I wash in innocency my hands, And I compass Thine altar, O Jehovah.I will wash my hands in innocency: So will I compass thine altar, O Jehovah; I will make my hands clean from sin; so will I go round your altar, O Lord;I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,
Psalms 26:7To sound with a voice of confession, And to recount all Thy wonders.That I may make the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, And tell of all thy wondrous works. That I may give out the voice of praise, and make public all the wonders which you have done.That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works.
Psalms 26:8Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of Thy house, And the place of the tabernacle of Thine honour.Jehovah, I love the habitation of thy house, And the place where thy glory dwelleth. Lord, your house has been dear to me, and the resting-place of your glory.Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.
Psalms 26:9Do not gather with sinners my soul, And with men of blood my life,Gather not my soul with sinners, Nor my life with men of blood; Let not my soul be numbered among sinners, or my life among men of blood;Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;
Psalms 26:10In whose hand [is] a wicked device, And their right hand [is] full of bribes.In whose hands is wickedness, And their right hand is full of bribes. In whose hands are evil designs, and whose right hands take money for judging falsely.In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.
Psalms 26:11And I, in mine integrity I walk, Redeem me, and favour me.But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: Redeem me, and be merciful unto me. But as for me, I will go on in my upright ways: be my saviour, and have mercy on me.But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.
Psalms 26:12My foot hath stood in uprightness, In assemblies I bless Jehovah!My foot standeth in an even place: In the congregations will I bless Jehovah. Psalm 27 [A Psalm] of David. I have a safe resting-place for my feet; I will give praise to the Lord in the meetings of the people.My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.
