| Psalms 20:1 | To the Overseer. A Psalm of David. Jehovah doth answer thee, In a day of adversity, The name of the God of Jacob doth set thee on high, | Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; The name of the God of Jacob set thee up on high; | <To the chief music-maker. A Psalm. Of David.> May the Lord give ear to you in the day of trouble; may you be placed on high by the name of the God of Jacob; | Unto the end. A psalm for David. |
| Psalms 20:2 | He doth send thy help from the sanctuary, And from Zion doth support thee, | Send thee help from the sanctuary, And strengthen thee out of Zion; | May he send you help from the holy place, and give you strength from Zion; | In thy strength, O Lord, the king shall joy; and in thy salvation he shall rejoice exceedingly. |
| Psalms 20:3 | He doth remember all thy presents, And thy burnt-offering doth reduce to ashes. Selah. | Remember all thy offerings, And accept thy burnt-sacrifice; Selah | May he keep all your offerings in mind, and be pleased with the fat of your burned offerings; (Selah.) | Thou hast given him his heart's desire: end hast not withholden from him the will of his lips. |
| Psalms 20:4 | He doth give to thee according to thy heart, And all thy counsel doth fulfil. | Grant thee thy heart's desire, And fulfil all thy counsel. | May he give you your heart's desire, and put all your purposes into effect. | For thou hast prevented him with blessings of sweetness: thou hast set on his head a crown of precious stones. |

Jehovah doth fulfil all thy requests. | We will triumph in thy salvation, And in the name of our God we will set up our banners: Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions. | We will be glad in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will put up our flags: may the Lord give you all your requests. | He asked life of thee: and thou hast given him length of days for ever and ever. |
| Psalms 20:6 | Now I have known That Jehovah hath saved His anointed, He answereth him from His holy heavens, With the saving might of His right hand. | Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; He will answer him from his holy heaven With the saving strength of his right hand. | Now am I certain that the Lord gives salvation to his king; he will give him an answer from his holy heaven with the strength of salvation in his right hand. | His glory is great in thy salvation: glory and great beauty shalt thou lay upon him. |
