| Psalms 91:1 | He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually, | Happy is he whose resting-place is in the secret of the Lord, and under the shade of the wings of the Most High; | | He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. |
| Psalms 91:2 | He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,` | Who says of the Lord, He is my safe place and my tower of strength: he is my God, in whom is my hope. | | I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God, I will confide in him. |
| Psalms 91:3 | For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence. | He will take you out of the bird-net, and keep you safe from wasting disease. | | Surely *he* shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the destructive pestilence. |

| Psalms 91:7 | There fall at thy side a thousand, And a myriad at thy right hand, Unto thee it cometh not nigh. | You will see a thousand falling by your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. | | A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; [but] it shall not come nigh thee. |

| Psalms 91:11 | For His messengers He chargeth for thee, To keep thee in all thy ways, | For he will give you into the care of his angels to keep you wherever you go. | | For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways: |
| Psalms 91:12 | On the hands they bear thee up, Lest thou smite against a stone thy foot. | In their hands they will keep you up, so that your foot may not be crushed against a stone. | | They shall bear thee up in [their] hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. |
| Psalms 91:13 | On lion and asp thou treadest, Thou trampest young lion and dragon. | You will put your foot on the lion and the snake; the young lion and the great snake will be crushed under your feet. | | Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under foot. |
