| Psalms 29:1 | A Psalm of David. Ascribe to Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength. | <A Psalm. Of David.> Give to the Lord, you sons of the gods, give to the Lord glory and strength. | Ascribe to Yahweh, you sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength. | A psalm of a canticle, at the dedication of David's house. |
| Psalms 29:2 | Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness. | Give to the Lord the full glory of his name; give him worship in holy robes. | Ascribe to Yahweh the glory due to his name. Worship Yahweh in holy array. | I will extol thee, O Lord, for thou hast upheld me: and hast not made my enemies to rejoice over me. |

Yes, Yahweh breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon. | Sing to the Lord, O ye his saints: and give praise to the memory of his holiness. |

In the evening weeping shall have place, and in the morning gladness. |
