| Psalms 91:1 | He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually, | Happy is he whose resting-place is in the secret of the Lord, and under the shade of the wings of the Most High; | He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. | A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day. |
| Psalms 91:2 | He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,` | Who says of the Lord, He is my safe place and my tower of strength: he is my God, in whom is my hope. | I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust." | It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High. |
| Psalms 91:3 | For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence. | He will take you out of the bird-net, and keep you safe from wasting disease. | For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, From the deadly pestilence. | To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night: |
| Psalms 91:4 | With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler [is] His truth. | You will be covered by his feathers; under his wings you will be safe: his good faith will be your salvation. | He will cover you with his pinions, Under his wings you will take refuge. His truth is a shield and a buckler. | Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp. |
| Psalms 91:5 | Thou art not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flieth by day, | You will have no fear of the evil things of the night, or of the arrow in flight by day, | You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day; | For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice. |
| Psalms 91:6 | Of pestilence in thick darkness that walketh, Of destruction that destroyeth at noon, | Or of the disease which takes men in the dark, or of the destruction which makes waste when the sun is high. | Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. | O Lord, how great are thy works! thy thoughts are exceeding deep. |

| Psalms 91:10 | Evil happeneth not unto thee, And a plague cometh not near thy tent, | No evil will come on you, and no disease will come near your tent. | No evil will happen to you, Neither shall any plague come near your tent. | For behold thy enemies, O Lord, for behold thy enemies shall perish: and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. |

You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot. | The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus. |
