| Psalms 92:1 | A Psalm. A Song for the sabbath-day. Good to give thanks to Jehovah, And to sing praises to Thy name, O Most High, | <A Psalm. A Song for the Sabbath.> It is a good thing to give praise to the Lord, and to make melody to your name, O Most High; |
| Psalms 92:2 | To declare in the morning Thy kindness, And Thy faithfulness in the nights. | To make clear your mercy in the morning, and your unchanging faith every night; |
| Psalms 92:3 | On ten strings and on psaltery, On higgaion, with harp. | On a ten-corded instrument, and on an instrument of music with a quiet sound. |
| Psalms 92:4 | For Thou hast caused me to rejoice, O Jehovah, in Thy work, Concerning the works of Thy hands I sing. | For you, O Lord, have made me glad through your work; I will have joy in the works of your hands. |
| Psalms 92:5 | How great have been Thy works, O Jehovah, Very deep have been Thy thoughts. | O Lord, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep. |
| Psalms 92:6 | A brutish man doth not know, And a fool understandeth not this; | A man without sense has no knowledge of this; and a foolish man may not take it in. |
| Psalms 92:7 | When the wicked flourish as a herb, And blossom do all workers of iniquity For their being destroyed for ever and ever! | When the sinners come up like the grass, and all the workers of evil do well for themselves, it is so that their end may be eternal destruction. |
| Psalms 92:8 | And Thou [art] high to the age, O Jehovah. | But you, O Lord, are on high for ever. |
| Psalms 92:9 | For, lo, Thine enemies, O Jehovah, For, lo, Thine enemies, do perish, Separate themselves do all workers of iniquity. | For see! your haters, O Lord, will be put to death; all the workers of evil will be put to flight; |
| Psalms 92:10 | And Thou exaltest as a reem my horn, I have been anointed with fresh oil. | But my horn is lifted up like the horn of the ox: the best oil is flowing on my head. |
| Psalms 92:11 | And mine eye looketh on mine enemies, Of those rising up against me, The evil doers, do mine ears hear. | My eyes have seen trouble come on my haters; my ears have news of the fate of the evil-doers who have come up against me. |
| Psalms 92:12 | The righteous as a palm-tree flourisheth, As a cedar in Lebanon he groweth. | The good man will be like a tall tree in his strength; his growth will be as the wide-stretching trees of Lebanon. |
| Psalms 92:13 | Those planted in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of our God do flourish. | Those who are planted in the house of the Lord will come up tall and strong in his gardens. |
| Psalms 92:14 | Still they bring forth in old age, Fat and flourishing are they, | They will give fruit even when they are old; they will be fertile and full of growth; |
