1st-Corinthians 11:1Followers of me become ye, as I also [am] of Christ.Be my imitators, even as *I* also [am] of Christ.Be ye followers of me, as I also am of Christ.Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
1st-Corinthians 11:2And I praise you, brethren, that in all things ye remember me, and according as I did deliver to you, the deliverances ye keep,Now I praise you, that in all things ye are mindful of me; and that as I have directed you, ye keep the directions. Now I praise you, brethren, that in all things you are mindful of me: and keep my ordinances as I have delivered them to you.Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you.
1st-Corinthians 11:3and I wish you to know that of every man the head is the Christ, and the head of a woman is the husband, and the head of Christ is God.But I wish you to know that the Christ is the head of every man, but woman's head [is] the man, and the Christ's head God.But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
1st-Corinthians 11:4Every man praying or prophesying, having the head covered, doth dishonour his head,Every man praying or prophesying, having [anything] on his head, puts his head to shame.Every man praying or prophesying with his head covered, disgraceth his head.Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoreth his head.
1st-Corinthians 11:5and every woman praying or prophesying with the head uncovered, doth dishonour her own head, for it is one and the same thing with her being shaven,But every woman praying or prophesying with her head uncovered puts her own head to shame; for it is one and the same as a shaved [woman].But every woman praying or prophesying with her head not covered, disgraceth her head: for it is all one as if she were shaven. But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered, dishonoreth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaved.
1st-Corinthians 11:6for if a woman is not covered then let her be shorn, and if [it is] a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven let her be covered; For if a woman be not covered, let her hair also be cut off. But if [it be] shameful to a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved, let her be covered. For if a woman be not covered, let her be shorn. But if it be a shame to a woman to be shorn or made bald, let her cover her head. For if the woman is not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it is a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.
1st-Corinthians 11:7for a man, indeed, ought not to cover the head, being the image and glory of God, and a woman is the glory of a man,For man indeed ought not to have his head covered, being God's image and glory; but woman is man's glory. The man indeed ought not to cover his head, because he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of the man.For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
1st-Corinthians 11:8for a man is not of a woman, but a woman [is] of a man,For man is not of woman, but woman of man.For the man is not of the woman, but the woman of the man.For the man is not from the woman, but the woman from the man.
1st-Corinthians 11:9for a man also was not created because of the woman, but a woman because of the man;For also man was not created for the sake of the woman, but woman for the sake of the man.For the man was not created for the woman, but the woman for the man.Neither was the man created for the woman, but the woman for the man.
1st-Corinthians 11:10because of this the woman ought to have [a token of] authority upon the head, because of the messengers; Therefore ought the woman to have authority on her head, on account of the angels. Therefore ought the woman to have a power over her head, because of the angels. For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head, because of the angels.
1st-Corinthians 11:11but neither [is] a man apart from a woman, nor a woman apart from a man, in the Lord,However, neither [is] woman without man, nor man without woman, in [the] Lord. But yet neither is the man without the woman, nor the woman without the man, in the Lord.Nevertheless, neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man in the Lord.
1st-Corinthians 11:12for as the woman [is] of the man, so also the man [is] through the woman, and the all things [are] of God.For as the woman [is] of the man, so also [is] the man by the woman, but all things of God.For as the woman is of the man, so also is the man by the woman: but all things of God.For as the woman is from the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things from God.
1st-Corinthians 11:13In your own selves judge ye; is it seemly for a woman uncovered to pray to God?Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman should pray to God uncovered? You yourselves judge: doth it become a woman, to pray unto God uncovered?Judge in yourselves: Is it comely that a woman should pray to God uncovered?
1st-Corinthians 11:14doth not even nature itself teach you, that if a man indeed have long hair, a dishonour it is to him?Does not even nature itself teach you, that man, if he have long hair, it is a dishonour to him?Doth not even nature itself teach you, that a man indeed, if he nourish his hair, it is a shame unto him?Doth not even nature itself teach you, that if a man hath long hair, it is a shame to him?
1st-Corinthians 11:15and a woman, if she have long hair, a glory it is to her, because the hair instead of a covering hath been given to her;But woman, if she have long hair, [it is] glory to her; for the long hair is given [to her] in lieu of a veil. But if a woman nourish her hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given to her for a covering. But if a woman hath long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.
1st-Corinthians 11:16and if any one doth think to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the assemblies of God.But if any one think to be contentious, *we* have no such custom, nor the assemblies of God.But if any man seem to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor the church of God.But if any man seemeth to be contentious, we have no such custom, neither the churches of God.
1st-Corinthians 11:17And this declaring, I give no praise, because not for the better, but for the worse ye come together; But [in] prescribing [to you on] this [which I now enter on], I do not praise, [namely,] that ye come together, not for the better, but for the worse. Now this I ordain: not praising you, that you come together not for the better, but for the worse. Now in this that I declare to you, I praise you not, that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse.
1st-Corinthians 11:18for first, indeed, ye coming together in an assembly, I hear of divisions being among you, and partly I believe [it],For first, when ye come together in assembly, I hear there exist divisions among you, and I partly give credit [to it].For first of all I hear that when you come together in the church, there are schisms among you; and in part I believe it.For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.
1st-Corinthians 11:19for it behoveth sects also to be among you, that those approved may become manifest among you;For there must also be sects among you, that the approved may become manifest among you.For there must be also heresies: that they also, who are approved, may be made manifest among you.For there must be also heresies among you, that they who are approved may be made manifest among you.
1st-Corinthians 11:20ye, then, coming together at the same place it is not to eat the Lord`s supper; When ye come therefore together into one place, it is not to eat [the] Lord's supper. When you come therefore together into one place, it is not now to eat the Lord's supper. When therefore ye come together in one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.
1st-Corinthians 11:21for each his own supper doth take before in the eating, and one is hungry, and another is drunk; For each one in eating takes his *own* supper before [others], and one is hungry and another drinks to excess. For every one taketh before his own supper to eat. And one indeed is hungry and another is drunk. For in eating every one taketh before another his own supper: and one is hungry, and another is drunken.
1st-Corinthians 11:22why, have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or the assembly of God do ye despise, and shame those not having? what may I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I do not praise!Have ye not then houses for eating and drinking? or do ye despise the assembly of God, and put to shame them who have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you? In this [point] I do not praise. What, have you not houses to eat and to drink in? Or despise ye the church of God; and put them to shame that have not ? What shall I say to you? Do I praise you? In this I praise you not. What? have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not.
1st-Corinthians 11:23For I I received from the Lord that which also I did deliver to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was delivered up, took bread,For *I* received from the Lord, that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, in the night in which he was delivered up, took bread,For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread. For I have received from the Lord, that which also I delivered to you, That the Lord Jesus, the same night in which he was betrayed, took bread:
1st-Corinthians 11:24and having given thanks, he brake, and said, `Take ye, eat ye, this is my body, that for you is being broken; this do ye to the remembrance of me.`and having given thanks broke [it], and said, This is my body, which [is] for you: this do in remembrance of me.And giving thanks, broke, and said: Take ye, and eat: this is my body, which shall be delivered for you: this do for the commemoration of me.And when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.
1st-Corinthians 11:25In like manner also the cup after the supping, saying, `This cup is the new covenant in my blood; this do ye, as often as ye may drink [it] to the remembrance of me;`In like manner also the cup, after having supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood: this do, as often as ye shall drink [it], in remembrance of me.In like manner also the chalice, after he had supped, saying: This chalice is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as often as you shall drink, for the commemoration of me.After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
1st-Corinthians 11:26for as often as ye may eat this bread, and this cup may drink, the death of the Lord ye do shew forth till he may come; For as often as ye shall eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye announce the death of the Lord, until he come. For as often as you shall eat this bread, and drink the chalice, you shall shew the death of the Lord, until he come. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he shall come.
1st-Corinthians 11:27so that whoever may eat this bread or may drink the cup of the Lord unworthily, guilty he shall be of the body and blood of the Lord:So that whosoever shall eat the bread, or drink the cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty in respect of the body and of the blood of the Lord. Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.Wherefore, whoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
1st-Corinthians 11:28and let a man be proving himself, and so of the bread let him eat, and of the cup let him drink; But let a man prove himself, and thus eat of the bread, and drink of the cup.But let a man prove himself: and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the chalice. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
1st-Corinthians 11:29for he who is eating and drinking unworthily, judgment to himself he doth eat and drink not discerning the body of the Lord. For [the] eater and drinker eats and drinks judgment to himself, not distinguishing the body. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh condemnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
1st-Corinthians 11:30Because of this, among you many [are] weak and sickly, and sleep do many;On this account many among you [are] weak and infirm, and a good many are fallen asleep. Therefore are there many inform and weak among you, and many sleep. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.
1st-Corinthians 11:31for if ourselves we were discerning, we would not be being judged,But if we judged ourselves, so were we not judged. But if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.
1st-Corinthians 11:32and being judged by the Lord, we are chastened, that with the world we may not be condemned; But being judged, we are disciplined of [the] Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world. But whilst we are judged, we are chastised by the Lord, that we be not condemned with this world. But when we are judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
1st-Corinthians 11:33so then, my brethren, coming together to eat, for one another wait ye;So that, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, wait for one another.Wherefore, my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another.Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another.
1st-Corinthians 11:34and if any one is hungry, at home let him eat, that to judgment ye may not come together; and the rest, whenever I may come, I shall arrange. If any one be hungry, let him eat at home, that ye may not come together for judgment. But the other things, whenever I come, I will set in order. If any man be hungry, let him eat at home; that you come not together unto judgment. And the rest I will set in order, when I come. And if any man hungereth, let him eat at home; that ye come not together to condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
