| Job 10:1 | My soul hath been weary of my life, I leave off my talking to myself, I speak in the bitterness of my soul. | My soul is weary of my life: I will give free course to my complaint; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. | My soul is weary of my life, I will let go my speech against myself, I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. | My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul. |
| Job 10:2 | I say unto God, `Do not condemn me, Let me know why Thou dost strive [with] me. | I will say unto +God, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore thou strivest with me. | I will say to God: Do not condemn me: tell me why thou judgest me so. | I will say to God, Do not condemn me; show me why thou contendest with me. |
| Job 10:3 | Is it good for Thee that Thou dost oppress? That Thou despisest the labour of Thy hands, And on the counsel of the wicked hast shone? | Doth it please thee to oppress, that thou shouldest despise the work of thy hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked? | Doth it seem good to thee that thou shouldst calumniate me, and oppress me, the work of thy own hands, and help the counsel of the wicked? | Is it good to thee that thou shouldst oppress, that thou shouldst despise the work of thy hands, and shine upon the counsel of the wicked? |
| Job 10:4 | Eyes of flesh hast Thou? As man seeth seest Thou? | Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth? | Hast thou eyes of flesh: or, shalt thou see as man seeth? | Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth? |
| Job 10:5 | As the days of man [are] Thy days? Thy years as the days of a man? | Are thy days as the days of a mortal? are thy years as a man's days, | Are thy days as the days of man, and are thy years as the times of men: | Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days, |
| Job 10:6 | That Thou inquirest for mine iniquity, And for my sin seekest? | That thou searchest after mine iniquity, and inquirest into my sin; | That thou shouldst inquire after my iniquity, and search after my sin? | That thou inquirest after my iniquity, and searchest after my sin? |
| Job 10:7 | For Thou knowest that I am not wicked, And there is no deliverer from Thy hand. | Since thou knowest that I am not wicked, and that there is none that delivereth out of thy hand? | And shouldst know that I have done no wicked thing, whereas there is no man that can deliver out of thy hand. | Thou knowest that I am not wicked; and there is none that can deliver out of thy hand. |
| Job 10:8 | Thy hands have taken pains about me, And they make me together round about, And Thou swallowest me up! | Thy hands have bound me together and made me as one, round about; yet dost thou swallow me up! | Thy hands have made me, and fashioned me wholly round about, and dost thou thus cast me down headlong on a sudden? | Thy hands have made me and fashioned me in all my parts; yet thou dost destroy me. |
| Job 10:9 | Remember, I pray Thee, That as clay Thou hast made me, And unto dust Thou dost bring me back. | Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as clay, and wilt bring me into dust again. | Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay, and thou wilt bring me into dust again. | Remember, I beseech thee, that thou hast made me as the clay; and wilt thou bring me into dust again? |
| Job 10:10 | Dost Thou not as milk pour me out? And as cheese curdle me? | Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese? | Hast thou not milked me as milk, and curdled me like cheese? | Hast thou not poured me out as milk, and curdled me like cheese? |
| Job 10:11 | Skin and flesh Thou dost put on me, And with bones and sinews dost fence me. | Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and knit me together with bones and sinews; | Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh: thou hast put me together with bones and sinews: | Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews. |
| Job 10:12 | Life and kindness Thou hast done with me. And Thy inspection hath preserved my spirit. | Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy care hath preserved my spirit; | Thou hast granted me life and mercy, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. | Thou hast granted me life and favor, and thy visitation hath preserved my spirit. |
| Job 10:13 | And these Thou hast laid up in Thy heart, I have known that this [is] with Thee. | And these things didst thou hide in thy heart; I know that this was with thee. | Although thou conceal these things in thy heart, yet I know that thou rememberest all things. | And these things hast thou hid in thy heart: I know that this is with thee. |
| Job 10:14 | If I sinned, then Thou hast observed me, And from mine iniquity dost not acquit me, | If I sinned, thou wouldest mark me, and thou wouldest not acquit me of mine iniquity. | If I have sinned and thou hast spared me for an hour: why dost thou not suffer me to be clean from my iniquity? | If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from my iniquity. |
| Job 10:15 | If I have done wickedly wo to me, And righteously I lift not up my head, Full of shame then see my affliction, | If I were wicked, woe unto me! and righteous, I will not lift up my head, being [so] full of shame, and beholding mine affliction; | And if I be wicked, woe unto me: and if just, I shall not lift up my head, being filled with affliction and misery. | If I be wicked, woe to me; and if I be righteous, yet will I not lift up my head. I am full of confusion; therefore see thou my affliction; |
| Job 10:16 | And it riseth as a lion Thou huntest me. And Thou turnest back Thou shewest Thyself wonderful in me. | And it increaseth: thou huntest me as a fierce lion; and ever again thou shewest thy marvellous power upon me. | And for pride thou wilt take me as a lioness, and returning thou tormentest me wonderfully. | For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou showest thyself wonderful upon me. |
| Job 10:17 | Thou renewest Thy witnesses against me, And dost multiply Thine anger with me, Changes and warfare [are] with me. | Thou renewest thy witnesses before me and increasest thy displeasure against me; successions [of evil] and a time of toil are with me. | Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and multipliest thy wrath upon me, and pains war against me. | Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and increasest thy indignation upon me; changes and war are against me. |
| Job 10:18 | And why from the womb Hast Thou brought me forth? I expire, and the eye doth not see me. | And wherefore didst thou bring me forth out of the womb? I had expired, and no eye had seen me. | Why didst thou bring me forth out of the womb: O that I had been consumed that eye might not see me! | Why then hast thou brought me forth from the womb? O that I had expired, and no eye had seen me! |
| Job 10:19 | As I had not been, I am, From the belly to the grave I am brought, | I should be as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave. | I should have been as if I had not been, carried from the womb to the grave. | I should have been as though I had not been; I should have been carried from the womb to the grave. |
| Job 10:20 | Are not my days few? Cease then, and put from me, And I brighten up a little, | Are not my days few? cease then and let me alone, that I may revive a little, | Shall not the fewness of my days be ended shortly? suffer me, therefore, that I may lament my sorrow a little: | Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little, |
| Job 10:21 | Before I go, and return not, Unto a land of darkness and death-shade, | Before I go, and never to return, to the land of darkness and the shadow of death; | Before I go, and return no more, to a land that is dark and covered with the mist of death: | Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness, and the shades of death; |
| Job 10:22 | A land of obscurity as thick darkness, Death-shade and no order, And the shining [is] as thick darkness.` | A land of gloom, as darkness itself; of the shadow of death, without any order, where the light is as thick darkness. | A land of misery and darkness, where the shadow of death, and no order, but everlasting horror dwelleth. | A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shades of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness. |
