Job 21:4I to man [is] my complaint? and if [so], wherefore May not my temper become short? As for me, is my complaint to a man? or wherefore should not my spirit be impatient? Is my debate against man, that I should not have just reason to be troubled? As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled?
Job 21:5Turn unto me, and be astonished, And put hand to mouth.Mark me, and be astonished, and lay the hand upon the mouth.Hearken to me and be astonished, and lay your finger on your mouth.Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.
Job 21:6Yea, if I have remembered, then I have been troubled. And my flesh hath taken fright.Even when I think [thereon], I am affrighted, and trembling taketh hold of my flesh. As for me, when I remember, I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.
Job 21:7Wherefore do the wicked live? They have become old, Yea, they have been mighty in wealth.Wherefore do the wicked live, grow old, yea, become mighty in power? Why then do the wicked live, are they advanced, and strengthened with riches? Why do the wicked live, become old, and, are mighty in power?
Job 21:8Their seed is established, Before their face with them, And their offspring before their eyes.Their seed is established with them in their sight, and their offspring before their eyes.Their seed continueth before them, a multitude of kinsmen, and of children's children in their sight.Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.
Job 21:9Their houses [are] peace without fear, Nor [is] a rod of God upon them.Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of +God upon them.Their houses are secure and peaceable, and the rod of God is not upon them.Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them.
Job 21:10His bullock hath eaten corn, and doth not loath. His cow bringeth forth safely, And doth not miscarry.Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.Their cattle have conceived, and failed not: their cow has calved, and is not deprived of her fruit.Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.
Job 21:11They send forth as a flock their sucklings, And their children skip,They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance.Their little ones go out like a flock, and their children dance and play. They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance.
Job 21:12They lift [themselves] up at timbrel and harp, And rejoice at the sound of an organ. They shout to the tambour and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the pipe. They take the timbrel, and the harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ.
Job 21:13They wear out in good their days, And in a moment [to] Sheol go down. They spend their days in prosperity, and in a moment go down to Sheol. They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment they go down to hell. They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.
Job 21:14And they say to God, `Turn aside from us, And the knowledge of Thy ways We have not desired. And they say unto ùGod, Depart from us, for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways!Who have said to God: Depart from us, we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. Therefore they say to God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.
Job 21:15What [is] the Mighty One that we serve Him? And what do we profit when we meet with Him?`What is the Almighty that we should serve him? and what are we profited if we pray unto him?Who is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what doth it profit us if we pray to him? What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray to him?
Job 21:16Lo, not in their hand [is] their good, (The counsel of the wicked Hath been far from me.)Behold, their prosperity is not in their hand. The counsel of the wicked be far from me!Yet because their good things are not in their hand, may the counsel of the wicked be far from me.Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
Job 21:17How oft is the lamp of the wicked extinguished, And come on them doth their calamity? Pangs He apportioneth in His anger. How often is the lamp of the wicked put out, and cometh their calamity upon them? Doth he distribute sorrows [to them] in his anger? How often shall the lamp of the wicked be put out, and a deluge come upon them, and he shall distribute the sorrows of his wrath? How oft is the candle of the wicked put out? and how oft cometh their destruction upon them? God distributeth sorrows in his anger.
Job 21:18They are as straw before wind, And as chaff a hurricane hath stolen away,Do they become as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away? They shall be as chaff before the face of the wind, and as ashes which the whirlwind scattereth. They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.
Job 21:19God layeth up for his sons his sorrow, He giveth recompense unto him and he knoweth.+God layeth up [the punishment of] his iniquity for his children; he rewardeth him, and he shall know [it]:God shall lay up the sorrow of the father for his children: and when he shall repay, then shall he know.God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he rewardeth him, and he shall know it.
Job 21:20His own eyes see his destruction, And of the wrath of the Mighty he drinketh. His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the fury of the Almighty. His eyes shall see his own destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty. His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty.
Job 21:21For what [is] his delight in his house after him, And the number of his months cut off?For what pleasure should he have in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off?For what is it to him what befalleth his house after him: and if the number of his months be diminished by one half? For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?
Job 21:22To God doth [one] teach knowledge, And He the high doth judge? Can any teach ùGod knowledge? And he it is that judgeth those that are high.Shall any one teach God knowledge, who judgeth those that are high?Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high.
Job 21:23This [one] dieth in his perfect strength, Wholly at ease and quiet. One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet; One man dieth strong, and hale, rich and happy. One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet.

And where the tent The tabernacles of the wicked?`For ye say, Where is the house of the noble? and where the tent of the dwellings of the wicked? For you say: Where is the house of the prince ? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked? For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked?
Job 21:29Have ye not asked those passing by the way? And their signs do ye not know?Have ye not asked the wayfarers? and do ye not regard their tokens:Ask any one of them that go by the way, and you shall perceive that he knoweth these same things.Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens,
Job 21:30That to a day of calamity is the wicked spared. To a day of wrath they are brought. That the wicked is reserved for the day of calamity?
