| Psalms 20:1 | To the Overseer. A Psalm of David. Jehovah doth answer thee, In a day of adversity, The name of the God of Jacob doth set thee on high, | {To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob protect thee; | Unto the end. A psalm for David. | To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee. |
| Psalms 20:2 | He doth send thy help from the sanctuary, And from Zion doth support thee, | May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; | In thy strength, O Lord, the king shall joy; and in thy salvation he shall rejoice exceedingly. | Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion. |
| Psalms 20:3 | He doth remember all thy presents, And thy burnt-offering doth reduce to ashes. Jehovah doth fulfil all thy requests. | We will triumph in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we set up our banners. | Psalms 20:6 | Now I have known That Jehovah hath saved His anointed, He answereth him from His holy heavens, With the saving might of His right hand. | Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand. | His glory is great in thy salvation: glory and great beauty shalt thou lay upon him. | Now I know that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. |
