| Psalms 25:1 | By David. Unto Thee, O Jehovah, my soul I lift up. | {[A Psalm] of David.} Unto thee, Jehovah, do I lift up my soul. | Unto the end, a psalm for David. Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in my innocence: and I have put my trust in the Lord, and shall not be weakened. | |
| Psalms 25:2 | My God, in Thee I have trusted, Let me not be ashamed, Let not mine enemies exult over me. | My God, I confide in thee; let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. | Prove me, O Lord, and try me; burn my reins and my heart. | |
| Psalms 25:3 | Also let none waiting on Thee be ashamed, Let the treacherous dealers without cause be ashamed. | Yea, none that wait on thee shall be ashamed: they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause. | For thy mercy is before my eyes; and I am well pleased with thy truth. | |
| Psalms 25:4 | Thy ways, O Jehovah, cause me to know, Thy paths teach Thou me. | Make me to know thy ways, O Jehovah; teach me thy paths. | I have not sat with the council of vanity: neither will I go in with the doers of unjust things. | |
| Psalms 25:5 | Cause me to tread in Thy truth, and teach me, For Thou [art] the God of my salvation, Near Thee I have waited all the day. | Make me to walk in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. | I have hated the assembly of the malignant; and with the wicked I will not sit. | |
| Psalms 25:6 | Remember Thy mercies, O Jehovah, And Thy kindnesses, for from the age [are] they. | Remember, Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy loving-kindnesses; for they are from everlasting. | I will wash my hands among the innocent; and will compass thy altar, O Lord: | |
| Psalms 25:7 | Sins of my youth, and my transgressions, Do not Thou remember. According to Thy kindness be mindful of me, For Thy goodness` sake, O Jehovah. | Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to thy loving-kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, Jehovah. | That I may hear the voice of thy praise: and tell of all thy wondrous works. | |
| Psalms 25:8 | Good and upright [is] Jehovah, Therefore He directeth sinners in the way. | Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way: | I have loved, O Lord, the beauty of thy house; and the place where thy glory dwelleth. | |
| Psalms 25:9 | He causeth the humble to tread in judgment, And teacheth the humble His way. | The meek will he guide in judgment, and the meek will he teach his way. | Take not away my soul, O God, with the wicked: nor my life with bloody men: | |
| Psalms 25:10 | All the paths of Jehovah [are] kindness and truth, To those keeping His covenant, And His testimonies. | All the paths of Jehovah are loving-kindness and truth for such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. | In whose hands are iniquities: their right hand is filled with gifts. | |
| Psalms 25:11 | For Thy name`s sake, O Jehovah, Thou hast pardoned mine iniquity, for it [is] great. | For thy name's sake, O Jehovah, thou wilt indeed pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. | But as for me, I have walked in my innocence: redeem me, and have mercy on me. | |
| Psalms 25:12 | Who [is] this the man fearing Jehovah? He directeth him in the way He doth choose. | What man is he that feareth Jehovah? him will he instruct in the way [that] he should choose. | My foot hath stood in the direct way: in the churches I will bless thee, O Lord. | |
| Psalms 25:13 | His soul in good doth remain, And his seed doth possess the land. | His soul shall dwell in prosperity, and his seed shall inherit the earth. | | |
| Psalms 25:14 | The secret of Jehovah [is] for those fearing Him, And His covenant to cause them to know. | The secret of Jehovah is with them that fear him, that he may make known his covenant to them. | | |
| Psalms 25:15 | Mine eyes [are] continually unto Jehovah, For He bringeth out from a net my feet. | Mine eyes are ever toward Jehovah; for he will bring my feet out of the net. | | |
| Psalms 25:16 | Turn Thou unto me, and favour me, For lonely and afflicted [am] I. | Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted. | | |
| Psalms 25:17 | The distresses of my heart have enlarged themselves, From my distresses bring me out. | The troubles of my heart are increased: bring me out of my distresses; | | |
| Psalms 25:18 | See mine affliction and my misery, And bear with all my sins. | Consider mine affliction and my travail, and forgive all my sins. | | |
| Psalms 25:19 | See my enemies, for they have been many, And with violent hatred they have hated me. | Consider mine enemies, for they are many, and they hate me [with] cruel hatred. | | |
| Psalms 25:20 | Keep my soul, and deliver me, Let me not be ashamed, for I trusted in Thee. | Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I trust in thee. | | |
| Psalms 25:21 | Integrity and uprightness do keep me, For I have waited [on] Thee. | Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. | | |
| Psalms 25:22 | Redeem Israel, O God, from all his distresses! | Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles. | | |
