Psalms 79:4We have been a reproach to our neighbours, A scorn and a derision to our surrounders.We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a mockery and a derision to them that are round about us.Convert us, O God: and shew us thy face, and we shall be saved.We have become a reproach to our neighbors, A scoffing and derision to those who are around us.
Psalms 79:5Till when, O Jehovah? art Thou angry for ever? Thy jealousy doth burn as fire.How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou be angry for ever? Psalms 79:6Pour Thy fury on the nations who have not known Thee, And on kingdoms that have not called in Thy name.Pour out thy fury upon the nations that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that call not upon thy name:How long wilt thou feed us with the bread of tears: and give us for our drink tears in measure?Pour out your wrath on the nations that don't know you; On the kingdoms that don't call on your names;
Psalms 79:7For [one] hath devoured Jacob, And his habitation they have made desolate.For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his habitation.Thou hast made us to be a contradiction to our neighbours: and our enemies have scoffed at us.For they have devoured Jacob, And destroyed his homeland.

Psalms 79:10Why do the nations say, `Where [is] their God?` Let be known among the nations before our eyes, The vengeance of the blood of Thy servants that is shed.Wherefore should the nations say, Where is their God? Let the avenging of the blood of thy servants that is shed be known among the nations in our sight.Thou wast the guide of its journey in its sight: thou plantedst the roots thereof, and it filled the land.Why should the nations say, "Where is their God?"
