Psalms 80:4Jehovah, God of Hosts, till when? Thou hast burned against the prayer of Thy people.Jehovah, God of hosts, how long will thine anger smoke against the prayer of thy people?Blow up the trumpet on the new moon, on the noted day of your solemnity.Yahweh God of hosts, How long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?
Psalms 80:5Thou hast caused them to eat bread of tears, And causest them to drink With tears a third time.Thou hast fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure:For it is a commandment in Israel, and a judgment to the God of Jacob. You have fed them with the bread of tears, And given them tears to drink in large measure.
Psalms 80:6Thou makest us a strife to our neighbors, And our enemies mock at it.Thou hast made us a strife unto our neighbours, and our enemies mock among themselves. He ordained it for a testimony in Joseph, when he came out of the land of Egypt: he heard a tongue which he knew not.You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.
Psalms 80:7God of Hosts, turn us back, And cause Thy face to shine, and we are saved.Restore us, O God of hosts; and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved. He removed his back from the burdens: his hands had served in baskets.Turn us again, God of hosts. Psalms 80:8A vine out of Egypt Thou dost bring, Thou dost cast out nations, and plantest it.Thou broughtest a vine out of Egypt; thou didst cast out the nations, and plant it:Thou calledst upon me in affliction, and I delivered thee: I heard thee in the secret place of tempest: I proved thee at the waters of contradiction. You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it.
Psalms 80:9Thou hast looked before it, and dost root it, And it filleth the land,Thou preparedst space before it, and it took deep root, and filled the land;Hear, O my people, and I will testify to thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken to me,You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.
Psalms 80:10Covered have been hills [with] its shadow, And its boughs [are] cedars of God.The mountains were covered with its shadow, and the branches thereof were [like] cedars of ùGod;there shall be no new god in thee: neither shalt thou adore a strange god.The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God's cedars.
Psalms 80:11It sendeth forth its branches unto the sea, And unto the river its sucklings. It sent out its boughs unto the sea, and its shoots unto the river. For I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.It sent out its branches to the sea, Its shoots to the River.
Psalms 80:12Why hast Thou broken down its hedges, And all passing by the way have plucked it?Why hast thou broken down its fences, so that all who pass by the way do pluck it?But my people heard not my voice: and Israel hearkened not to me.Why have you broken down its walls, So that all those who pass by the way pluck it?
Psalms 80:13A boar out of the forest doth waste it, And a wild beast of the fields consumeth it.The boar out of the forest doth waste it, and the beast of the field doth feed off it.So I let them go according to the desires of their heart: they shall walk in their own inventions. The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.

Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine,
