| Psalms 34:1 | By David, in his changing his behaviour before Abimelech, and he driveth him away, and he goeth. I do bless Jehovah at all times, Continually His praise [is] in my mouth. | {[A Psalm] of David; when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.} I will bless Jehovah at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. | I will bless Yahweh at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth. | For David himself. Judge thou, O Lord, them that wrong me : overthrow them that fight against me. |
| Psalms 34:2 | In Jehovah doth my soul boast herself, Hear do the humble and rejoice. | My soul shall make its boast in Jehovah: the meek shall hear, and rejoice. | My soul shall boast in Yahweh. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad. | Take hold of arms and shield : and rise up to help me. |

| Psalms 34:10 | Young lions have lacked and been hungry, And those seeking Jehovah lack not any good, | The young lions are in need and suffer hunger; but they that seek Jehovah shall not want any good. | The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, But those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. | All my bones shall say : Lord, who is like to thee? Who deliverest the poor from the hand of them that are stronger than he; the needy and the poor from them that strip him. |
| Psalms 34:11 | Come ye, children, hearken to me, The fear of Jehovah I do teach you. | Come, ye sons, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah. | Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of Yahweh. | Unjust witnesses rising up have asked me things I knew not. |

Loving days to see good? | What man is he that desireth life, [and] loveth days, that he may see good? | Who is someone who desires life, And loves many days, that he may see good? | They repaid me evil for good : to the depriving me of my soul. |
| Psalms 34:13 | Keep thy tongue from evil, And thy lips from speaking deceit. | Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile; | Keep your tongue from evil, And your lips from speaking lies. | But as for me, when they were troublesome to me, I was clothed with haircloth. I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer shall be turned into my bosom. |

His ears listen to their cry. | But they rejoiced against me, and came together : scourges were gathered together upon me, and I knew not. |
| Psalms 34:16 | (The face of Jehovah [is] on doers of evil, To cut off from earth their memorial.) | The face of Jehovah is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth: | The face of Yahweh is against those who do evil, To cut off the memory of them from the earth. | They were separated, and repented not : they tempted me, they scoffed at me with scorn : they gnashed upon me with their teeth. |
| Psalms 34:17 | They cried, and Jehovah heard, And from all their distresses delivered them. | [The righteous] cry, and Jehovah heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. | The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. | Lord, when wilt thou look upon me? rescue thou soul from their malice : my only one from the lions. |
| Psalms 34:18 | Near [is] Jehovah to the broken of heart, And the bruised of spirit He saveth. | Jehovah is nigh to those that are of a broken heart, and saveth them that are of a contrite spirit. | Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves those who have a crushed spirit. | I will give thanks to thee in a great church; I will praise thee in a strong people. |
| Psalms 34:19 | Many [are] the evils of the righteous, Out of them all doth Jehovah deliver him. | Many are the adversities of the righteous, but Jehovah delivereth him out of them all: | Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But Yahweh delivers him out of them all. | Let not them that are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me : who have hated me without cause, and wink with the eyes. |
| Psalms 34:20 | He is keeping all his bones, One of them hath not been broken. | He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken. | He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken. | For they spoke indeed peaceably to me; and speaking in the anger of the earth they devised guile. |
| Psalms 34:21 | Evil doth put to death the wicked, And those hating the righteous are desolate. | Evil shall destroy the wicked; and they that hate the righteous shall bear their guilt. | Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. | And they opened their mouth wide against me; they said : Well done, well done, our eyes have seen it. |
| Psalms 34:22 | Jehovah redeemeth the soul of His servants, And none trusting in Him are desolate! | Jehovah redeemeth the soul of his servants; and none of them that trust in him shall bear guilt. | Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants.
