| Psalms 89:1 | An instruction, by Ethan the Ezrahite. Of the kind acts of Jehovah, to the age I sing, To all generations I make known Thy faithfulness with my mouth, | {An instruction. Of Ethan the Ezrahite.} I will sing of the loving-kindness of Jehovah for ever; with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness from generation to generation. | I will sing of the lovingkindness of Yahweh forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations. | A prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our refuge from generation to generation. |
| Psalms 89:2 | For I said, `To the age is kindness built, The heavens! Thou dost establish Thy faithfulness in them.` | For I said, Loving-kindness shall be built up for ever; in the very heavens wilt thou establish thy faithfulness. | I indeed declare, "Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them." | Before the mountains were made, or the earth and the world was formed; from eternity and to eternity thou art God. |

Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like Yahweh, | In the morning man shall grow up like grass; in the morning he shall flourish and pass away: in the evening he shall fall, grow dry, and wither. |
