| Psalms 38:1 | A Psalm of David, `To cause to remember.` Jehovah, in Thy wrath reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me. | {A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance.} Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. | Yahweh, don't rebuke me in your wrath, Neither chasten me in your hot displeasure. | A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. | Psalms 38:2 | For Thine arrows have come down on me, And Thou lettest down upon me Thy hand. | For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand cometh down upon me. | For your arrows have pierced me, Your hand presses hard on me. | For thy arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand falleth heavy upon me. |
