| Psalms 29:1 | A Psalm of David. Ascribe to Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength. | Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. | | A psalm of a canticle, at the dedication of David's house. |
| Psalms 29:2 | Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness. | Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. | | I will extol thee, O Lord, for thou hast upheld me: and hast not made my enemies to rejoice over me. |
| Psalms 29:3 | The voice of Jehovah [is] on the waters, The God of glory hath thundered, Jehovah [is] on many waters. | The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters. | | O Lord my God, I have cried to thee, and then hast healed me. |
| Psalms 29:4 | The voice of Jehovah [is] with power, The voice of Jehovah [is] with majesty, | The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. | | Thou hast brought forth, O Lord, my soul from hell: thou hast saved me from them that go down into the pit. |
| Psalms 29:5 | The voice of Jehovah [is] shivering cedars, Yea, Jehovah shivers the cedars of Lebanon. | The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. | | Sing to the Lord, O ye his saints: and give praise to the memory of his holiness. |
| Psalms 29:6 | And He causeth them to skip as a calf, Lebanon and Sirion as a son of Reems, | He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. | | For wrath is in his indignation; and life in his good will. In the evening weeping shall have place, and in the morning gladness. |
| Psalms 29:7 | The voice of Jehovah is hewing fiery flames, | The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire. | | And in my abundance I said: I shall never be moved. |
| Psalms 29:8 | The voice of Jehovah paineth a wilderness, Jehovah paineth the wilderness of Kadesh. | The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. | | O Lord, in thy favour, thou gavest strength to my beauty. Thou turnedst away thy face from me, and I became troubled. |
| Psalms 29:9 | The voice of Jehovah paineth the oaks, And maketh bare the forests, And in His temple every one saith, `Glory.` | The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory. | | To thee, O Lord, will I cry: and I will make supplication to my God. |
| Psalms 29:10 | Jehovah on the deluge hath sat, And Jehovah sitteth king to the age, | The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever. | | What profit is there in my blood, whilst I go down to corruption? Shall dust confess to thee, or declare thy truth? |
| Psalms 29:11 | Jehovah strength to his people giveth, Jehovah blesseth His people with peace! | The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. | | The Lord hath heard, and hath had mercy on me: the Lord became my helper. |
