| Psalms 6:1 | To the Overseer with stringed instruments, on the octave. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, in Thine anger reprove me not, Nor in Thy fury chastise me. | O LORD, rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. | | Unto the end, in verses, a psalm for David, for the octave. |
| Psalms 6:2 | Favour me, O Jehovah, for I [am] weak, Heal me, O Jehovah, For troubled have been my bones, | Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed. | | O Lord, rebuke me not in thy indignation, nor chastise me in thy wrath. |
| Psalms 6:3 | And my soul hath been troubled greatly, And Thou, O Jehovah, till when? | My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long? | | Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak: heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled. |

| Psalms 6:5 | For there is not in death Thy memorial, In Sheol, who doth give thanks to Thee? | For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks? | | Turn to me, O Lord, and deliver my soul: O save me for thy mercy's sake. |
| Psalms 6:6 | I have been weary with my sighing, I meditate through all the night [on] my bed, With my tear my couch I waste. | I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. | | For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell? |
| Psalms 6:7 | Old from provocation is mine eye, It is old because of all mine adversaries, | Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies. | | I have laboured in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with my tears. |
| Psalms 6:8 | Turn from me all ye workers of iniquity, For Jehovah heard the voice of my weeping, | Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping. | | My eye is troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies. |
| Psalms 6:9 | Jehovah hath heard my supplication, Jehovah my prayer receiveth. | The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer. | | Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity: for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. |
