Psalms 54:1To the Overseer with stringed instruments. An instruction, by David, in the coming in of the Ziphim, and they say to Saul, `Is not David hiding himself with us?` O God, by Thy name save me, and by Thy might judge me.To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, A Psalm of David, when the Ziphims came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us? Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.Save me, God, by your name. Vindicate me in your might.Unto the end, in verses, understanding for David.
Psalms 54:2O God, hear my prayer, Give ear to the sayings of my mouth,Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.Hear my prayer, God. Listen to the words of my mouth.Hear, O God, my prayer, and despise not my supplication:
Psalms 54:3For strangers have risen up against me And terrible ones have sought my soul, They have not set God before them. Selah.For strangers have risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They haven't set God before them. Selah.the same are darts.
Psalms 54:4Lo, God [is] a helper to me, The Lord [is] with those supporting my soul,Behold, God is my helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.be attentive to me and hear me. I am grieved in my exercise; and am troubled,
Psalms 54:5Turn back doth the evil thing to mine enemies, In Thy truth cut them off.He will reward evil to my enemies; cut them off in thy truth.He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.at the voice of the enemy, and at the tribulation of the sinner. For they have cast iniquities upon me: and in wrath they were troublesome to me.
Psalms 54:6With a free will-offering I sacrifice to Thee, I thank Thy name, O Jehovah, for [it is] good,I will freely sacrifice to thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, Yahweh, for it is good.My heart is troubled within me: and the fear of death is fallen upon me.
Psalms 54:7For, from all adversity He delivered me, And on mine enemies hath mine eye looked!For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and my eye hath seen its desire upon my enemies.For he has delivered me out of all trouble.
