| Psalms 29:1 | A Psalm of David. Ascribe to Jehovah, ye sons of the mighty, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength. | | A psalm of a canticle, at the dedication of David's house. | A Psalm of David. Give to the LORD, O ye mighty, give to the LORD glory and strength. |
| Psalms 29:2 | Ascribe to Jehovah the honour of His name, Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the beauty of holiness. | | I will extol thee, O Lord, for thou hast upheld me: and hast not made my enemies to rejoice over me. | Give to the LORD, the glory due to his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. |

In the evening weeping shall have place, and in the morning gladness. | He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. |
| Psalms 29:7 | The voice of Jehovah is hewing fiery flames, | | And in my abundance I said: I shall never be moved. | The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire. |
