| Isaiah 22:1 | The burden of the Valley of Vision. What to thee, now, that thou hast gone up, All of thee to the roofs? | | The burden of the valley of vision. What ails you now, that you are wholly gone up to the housetops? | The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee also, that thou too art wholly gone up to the housetops? |
| Isaiah 22:2 | Full of stirs a noisy city an exulting city, Thy pierced are not pierced of the sword, Nor dead in battle. | | You that are full of shouting, a tumultuous city, a joyous town; your slain are not slain with the sword, neither are they dead in battle. | Full of clamour, a populous city, a joyous city: thy slain are not slain by the sword, nor dead in battle. |

Cutting him out a tomb on high, chiseling a habitation for himself in the rock!" | What dost thou here, or as if thou wert somebody here? for thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, thou hast hewed out a monument carefully in a high place, a dwelling for thyself in a rock. |
