| Psalms 90:1 | A Prayer of Moses, the man of God. Lord, a habitation Thou Thou hast been, To us in generation and generation, | | Lord, you have been our dwelling place In all generations. | The praise of a canticle for David. He that dwelleth in the aid of the most High, shall abide under the protection of the God of Jacob. |
| Psalms 90:2 | Before mountains were brought forth, And Thou dost form the earth and the world, Even from age unto age Thou [art] God. | | Before the mountains were brought forth, Or ever you had formed the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God. | He shall say to the Lord: Thou art my protector, and my refuge: my God, in him will I trust. |
| Psalms 90:3 | Thou turnest man unto a bruised thing, And sayest, Turn back, ye sons of men. | | You turn man to destruction, saying, "Return, you children of men." | For he hath delivered me from the snare of the hunters: and from the sharp word. |
| Psalms 90:4 | For a thousand years in Thine eyes [are] as yesterday, For it passeth on, yea, a watch by night. | | For a thousand years in your sight Are but as yesterday when it is past, As a watch in the night. | He will overshadow thee with his shoulders: and under his wings thou shalt trust. |
| Psalms 90:5 | Thou hast inundated them, they are asleep, In the morning as grass he changeth. | | You sweep them away as they sleep. In the morning they sprout like new grass. | His truth shall compass thee with a shield: thou shalt not be afraid of the terror of the night. |
| Psalms 90:6 | In the morning it flourisheth, and hath changed, At evening it is cut down, and hath withered. | | In the morning it sprouts and springs up. By evening, it is withered and dry. | Of the arrow that flieth in the day, of the business that walketh about in the dark: of invasion, or of the noonday devil. |
| Psalms 90:7 | For we were consumed in Thine anger, And in Thy fury we have been troubled. | | For we are consumed in your anger. We are troubled in your wrath. | A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand: but it shall not come nigh thee. |
| Psalms 90:8 | Thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, Our hidden things at the light of Thy face, | | You have set our iniquities before you, Our secret sins in the light of your presence. | But thou shalt consider with thy eyes: and shalt see the reward of the wicked. |
| Psalms 90:9 | For all our days pined away in Thy wrath, We consumed our years as a meditation. | | For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh. | Because thou, O Lord, art my hope: thou hast made the most High thy refuge. |
| Psalms 90:10 | Days of our years, in them [are] seventy years, And if, by reason of might, eighty years, Yet [is] their enlargement labour and vanity, For it hath been cut off hastily, and we fly away. | | The days of our years are seventy, Or even by reason of strength eighty years; Yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, For it passes quickly, and we fly away. | There shall no evil come to thee: nor shall the scourge come near thy dwelling. |
| Psalms 90:11 | Who knoweth the power of Thine anger? And according to Thy fear Thy wrath? | | Who knows the power of your anger, Your wrath according to the fear that is due to you? | For he hath given his angels charge over thee; to keep thee in all thy ways. |
| Psalms 90:12 | To number our days aright let [us] know, And we bring the heart to wisdom. | | So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom. | In their hands they shall bear thee up: lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. |
| Psalms 90:13 | Turn back, O Jehovah, till when? And repent concerning Thy servants. | | Relent, Yahweh! How long? Have compassion on your servants. | Thou shalt walk upon the asp and the basilisk: and thou shalt trample under foot the lion and the dragon. |
| Psalms 90:14 | Satisfy us at morn [with] Thy kindness, And we sing and rejoice all our days. | | Satisfy us in the morning with your lovingkindness, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days. | Because he hoped in me I will deliver him: I will protect him because he hath known my name. |
| Psalms 90:15 | Cause us to rejoice according to the days Wherein Thou hast afflicted us, The years we have seen evil. | | Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, For as many years as we have seen evil. | He shall cry to me, and I will hear him: I am with him in tribulation, I will deliver him, and I will glorify him. |
| Psalms 90:16 | Let Thy work appear unto Thy servants, And Thine honour on their sons. | | Let your work appear to your servants; Your glory to their children. | I will fill him with length of days; and I will shew him my salvation. |
