| Psalms 91:1 | He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually, | | He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. | A psalm of a canticle on the sabbath day. |
| Psalms 91:2 | He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,` | | I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust." | It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High. |
| Psalms 91:3 | For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence. | | For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, From the deadly pestilence. | To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night: |
| Psalms 91:4 | With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler [is] His truth. | | He will cover you with his pinions, Under his wings you will take refuge. His truth is a shield and a buckler. | Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp. |
| Psalms 91:5 | Thou art not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flieth by day, | | You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day; | For thou hast given me, O Lord, a delight in thy doings: and in the works of thy hands I shall rejoice. |
| Psalms 91:6 | Of pestilence in thick darkness that walketh, Of destruction that destroyeth at noon, | | Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. | O Lord, how great are thy works! thy thoughts are exceeding deep. |
| Psalms 91:7 | There fall at thy side a thousand, And a myriad at thy right hand, Unto thee it cometh not nigh. | | A thousand shall fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it will not come near you. | The senseless man shall not know: nor will the fool understand these things. |
| Psalms 91:8 | But with thine eyes thou lookest, And the reward of the wicked thou seest, | | You will only look with your eyes, And see the reward of the wicked. | When the wicked shall spring up as grass: and all the workers of iniquity shall appear: That they may perish for ever and ever: |
| Psalms 91:9 | (For Thou, O Jehovah, [art] my refuge,) The Most High thou madest thy habitation. | | For you, Yahweh, are my refuge! You have made the Most High your habitation. | but thou, O Lord, art most high for evermore. |
| Psalms 91:10 | Evil happeneth not unto thee, And a plague cometh not near thy tent, | | No evil will happen to you, Neither shall any plague come near your tent. | For behold thy enemies, O Lord, for behold thy enemies shall perish: and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered. |
| Psalms 91:11 | For His messengers He chargeth for thee, To keep thee in all thy ways, | | For he will give his angels charge over you, To guard you in all your ways. | But my horn shall be exalted like that of the unicorn: and my old age in plentiful mercy. |
| Psalms 91:12 | On the hands they bear thee up, Lest thou smite against a stone thy foot. | | They will bear you up in their hands, So that you won't dash your foot against a stone. | My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me. |
| Psalms 91:13 | On lion and asp thou treadest, Thou trampest young lion and dragon. | | You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot. | The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus. |
| Psalms 91:14 | Because in Me he hath delighted, I also deliver him I set him on high, Because he hath known My name. | | Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. | They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God. |
